    Lol yeah, but he won’t have it easy with Kimi in the other car. That was a brilliant lap from the kid all things considered. If Merc do dominate over the season and George wins, Toto will replace him with Max. 😁

    Yeah it’s terrible listening to the cars slow down especially on the run up to turn 9. That battery icon on the onboard display is an awful reminder of these shite new rules. Still, we have something to talk about. 😁

    Yeah, two parts. Brilliant job from them to get his car put back together but then a couple of silly mistakes. How did Norris not see that part before he drove over it? Probably looking at how much battery he had left…

    That will be a grid drop for Antonelli.

    This feels like Mercedes have lots of pace in reserve and should win these first races if the season with ease.

    championship is over. Its Russells or Kimi. Great lap from Hadjar Red Bull has potentional. Lando enjoy that No 1 on the car.

    Kimi 3 tenths behind Russell with only a single lap to do it and no doubt his car was not in optimal shape - I have hope he’ll be a problem for George. Great job from Hadjar and Linblad in the sister car. Williams and Alpine poor. Alonso almost made it to Q2.
    Looking forward to the race, I’ll be shocked if there isn’t a big crash due to battery issues.

    Watching the Sky F1 07.30 repeat of the qualifying, and Max out on his Out Lap..

    I definitely think this is a good time to watch the race tomorrow, avoiding the usual social media traps.

    Like Max, I need to know my limits... 😜

    Croft and Brundle had to constantly remind viewers when onboard that drivers aren't lifting off on the straight it's the engine clipping. If that's not indicative that something has gone very wrong with these regs then I don't know what is.

    I was texted this, "Imagine a 100m sprint, but the runners slowed down every now and then to catch their breath. That's what F1 has become."

    Just finished watching on catch up now. Cars slowing down on a straight looks and sounds rubbish. Worrying signs, but it's first competitive session so let's give it time.

    Mercedes should win easily tomorrow though.

    recorded the qualy and watched the Q1 and Q2 and went back to finish and it’s gone so had to watch the sky highlights.

    Anyway Russell looks fast. Nice to see Hadjar in P3. Mercedes did a great job getting Kimi out after the crash in FP3 but the gps wasn’t working and bits fell off which lando ran over.
