So it begins.

Friday 6th

Practice 1 - 01.30 - 02.30
Practice 2 - 05.00 - 06.00

Saturday 7th

Practice 3 - 01.30 - 02.30
Qualifying - 05.00 - 06.00

Sunday 8th

Race - 04.00

Supposedly the Start of the race will be a bit slower, they will be given a Blue warning light sequence when all drivers are lined up, once that sequence is finished then the normal sequence will commence.

This is to help spin up the Turbos.

I'm super excited for the racing to get started but also a bit depressed at the increased electrification of the sport tbh, just go back to full ICE and leave the battery powered stuff to Formula E. Melbourne is supposed to be one of the worst tracks for harvesting energy so fingers crossed this will be as bad as it gets in terms of hampering the racing - fingers crossed there's still plenty of action!

I caught the tail end of FP1, Ferrari and Red Bull leading the way for now.

Surprised to see Mercedes and McLaren so far back, I don't think they're sandbagging. Of course it's just FP1 so plenty of time to catch up.

Aston Martin probably shouldn't be allowed to start the race. What a mess.

Mercs leading the way so far. Problems for Verstappen in FP2, looked to be the same problem as Lindblad in FP1. Aston looking like a complete and utter mess
