Alternatively I'd say there's gonna be a lot of Randy Marsh in ectoplasm in the general thread here if Arsenal blow it.

I personally don't think we'll win anything this year. City have regrouped & spent another fortune and look like the team we all feared. Obviously I hope I'm wrong but have already mentally prepared myself for disappointment…. I've seen this movie before & unless someone has shot an alternative ending City will win at least 2 trophies & Someone like Leverkusen will win the CL… (still havent gotten over 2004 & Porto winning it after chelsea knocked us out in the QF's)

I did laugh when the Liverpool Guehi deal fell apart on deadline day, not looking so funny now though 😞

Top of PL and CL and getting ready for 2 cups. I admire your fatalism.

A pessimist is never disappointed my friend.

Truth be told I'm not looking any further ahead then the next game as they're emotionally draining enough 1 at a time. Its when I look at the big picture it just looks too good to be true and I feel like watching from behind the sofa!!

Arteta press conference is very vague as always, white is not available for tomorrow sounds like odegard is a possibility for the weekend, they haven’t trained so he’s not sure about havertz or rice but rice is better today and David raya is fine

Does he just throw a random name (Raya) in there to scare people? 😁

Brighton away tomorrow night will not be easy. We need Rice playing.

It has draw or worse written all over it the way the team have been playing lately. That said, if they can get out of Brighton with 3 points tomorrow I might start to think the title is doable again.

Maybe our point away to Wolves wasn’t so bad after all. I know realistically we threw it away but they’re in decent form and tonight proves it.

Haha great result for Wolves. I must watch the highlights now.

Chris Kavanagh refereeing tomorrow's match. He is from Manchester and I was told he is a City fan. I'll be watching his performance.

    Three point please tonight!

I'll take a bad performance and a nice scrappy win!

    Brighton away is always tough.

No Saliba, hopefully Mosquera keeps up his good performances

He must be the only defender at the club without a goal this season too, maybe tonight's the night.

With Ødegaard missing again it a great opportunity again for Eze, he really needs to put in a better performance thank he did against Chelsea

The commentary is as biased as can be on TNT. Constantly referring to the time, injuries etc.

We're a goal up a big physical side, why are we putting ourselves under pressure with these short kick outs? Get up the pitch and launch it ffs.

Brighton fans whistling about how long the free kick is taking while totally ignoring the fact that Gomez stood over the ball for 20 seconds.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,236 ✭✭✭wassie

Cracking strike by Rice there from the free, just a wee bit high.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 1,618 ✭✭✭JohnySwan

Mosqeura will be lucky to stay on the pitch. This game has calamity written all over it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,372 ✭✭✭FixitFelix

Awful half from us, 2nd to every single ball. Our players are just drifting through this game.

Lost count the amount of times Rice has given the ball away

This is going to play out a la our Wolves match unless Arteta and Arsenal pull the finger out. This is sh1te.

Brighton manager acting the gowl, they're wasting time delaying a number of our restarts and they took 50 seconds to take a corner too.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 30,561 ✭✭✭✭Quazzie

Getting hard to listen to this nonsense commentary. Portraying a big narrative regarding time wasting when there is absolute nothing to back it up

Mosquera off for Calafiori please, they're really at us and he's going to get sent off I feel
