But we have to get into the opposition box for that to happen 😭

This would be the team I’d pick based off availability and the 3-5-2 that Tudor seems to be wedded to:

    Kinskey

    Palinha Danso VDV

    Porro Souza
    Saar Bissouma

    Xavi

    Solanke Richarlison

It was a kinda hybrid setup- Whe we didn’t have the ball it was 3-5-2.
When we were in possession attacking (think it was the 66th and 83rd minute where that happened), we played 4-4-2.

Solanke should be the furthest most forward in any of the systems though.

Agreed on Solanke. He seemed to be a kind of right-sided #10 at times, which is a strange use of him.

Thursday is huge. Liverpool away after that, so the winless run could go on and on if it's not broken v Palace. Three points would just alleviate so much pressure.

Still shocks me every time it hits me spurs fans themselves don't quite understand how putrid Bissouma lad actually is.

Don’t get me wrong I’m sick of him and don’t rate him but I’m honestly not sure who else you can put in there considering availability.
Gallagher is worse but has a better attitude I suppose.
Palinha is needed as CB if we are playing 3 at the back as we have no other CBs.
Archie Gray I suppose but he hasn’t been great lately.

I'd start with the players who have shown a little fight, application or positivity recently. It's a short list.

    Souza
    Gray
    Tel
    Richarlison

Danso is far better than Dragusin. I'd rather see Olusesi, Rowswell or Steffen Freund in midfield than look at Bissouma again. Vicario starts just because we have no one else.

    Vicario
    Porro, Danso, VDV, Souza
    Gray, Palhinha, Sarr/Gallagher
    Richy, Solanke, Tel

According to the Athletic most of the players have relegation clauses in their contracts. 50% cuts apparently. Levy snuck those in when nobody thought it would ever happen. The way the players are playing they must be happy enough with the cut. Or they think they can all force their way out.

Mikey Moore seems to have put in a good shift for Rangers in the old firm, only saw clips but he was getting stuck in 🤣🤣

Is Romero not back for Palace?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,264 ✭✭✭✭tom1ie

He’s back for the Liverpool match so out for the palace match.

Yellow cards carry over don’t they, as in he doesn’t go back to 0 yellow cards because he got that red, so how may yellows was he on before he got the straight red vs united?

I suppose I’m asking if he’s back for Liverpool and gets a yellow will he be banned for getting 5 yellows 🤦‍♂️ 😂

edit to answer my own question:

    He’s currently on 8.
If ya get 10 by the 32nd game ya get a 2 match ban 😂

So if he picks up 2 yellows in any of Liverpool, Forrest, Sunderland (at that stage we will have played 32) he’ll get a 2 match ban.

I see we are now the worst team in the league based off form for the last 10 games, following wolves win vs pool last night.
    Have to get something tonight.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 287 ✭✭tomo75

    Game tomorrow night??

We need West Ham & Forrest to drop points tonight and we get the win on Thursday........could be the turning point of staying up......

If both teams win, I don't fancy our chances staying up....

As Conte said, the club doesn't like to play under pressure......

We win tomorrow or we go down i think.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,270 ✭✭✭Mr. Guappa

Lose tomorrow and Tudor could be gone. On thin ice at the least. No noticeable uptick so far.

I'd take the Gallagher attitude, there is a chance he comes good at least!

Latest injury update - Spence expected to be out until at least Atletico

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,161 ✭✭✭Deise Vu

Next up after Palace is Liverpool away. If we cloned Jennings, Bale, Modric, Ardiles, Hoddle, Greaves and Klinsmann we would still find a way to lose at Anfield. The pressure will then ramp up when Forest and West Ham stop their recent trend of doing us favours and then we are bunched.

Biggest game we have played in years tomorrow. I have a work night out so thankfully won’t have to put myself through the wringer. The bozos around me will be delighted to keep me updated if it is going bad though. A long, long night awaits.

My Spidey sense tell me Spence is having a little sulk, the poor little baby 🍼

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,264 ✭✭✭✭tom1ie

What fucken reason have they given for Spence?
Remember when players played through the pain barrier with injections- this lot are made of tissue.

West ham winning - bollix anyway

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 287 ✭✭tomo75

WEst ham have been here before and know they have to dig deep.....which in fairness they are doing......our lot don't have the stomach for the fight.....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,264 ✭✭✭✭tom1ie

West Ham winning and Forrest just equalised.
    This is our worst nightmare

We need Forest and West Ham to be doing us favours, not showing fight! What's wrong with them! 😩

Fair play to them both. Showing way more fight then we've shown at any point this season, and fully expect us to be shite tomorrow again.
