Yeah you'd have to cover the majority of his wages given his injury record and who'd want someone whose likely going to spend the majority of his time not playing. Must go down as the worst transfer in United history. That much money for a player who had one year left on his deal and to make it worse the deal helped Chelsea who needed to sell before June 30th for PSR.

Reports in the media suggest Carricks training seesions are a lot less intense than previous managers. Starting to translate on to the pitch perhaps?

Sure Shaw has started every league game so far this season and his minutes played in all those games is 97% so nothing to do with Carrick playing the same XI. Mount has nothing to do with that either and Martinez is just another injury prone player.

Taking Amad out has made us worse if anything. He might've have been at his best lately but he's always a live wire and constantly showing for it and trying to make things happen.

Very little urgency out there without him.
