Morning, have a day off today and visitors coming tomorrow so will be spending it blitzing around the house. But first coffee!
Now I've gotten over the initial shock, very sad to hear of MT's passing, his forecast was the first thing I checked every day for a reasoned outlook. I loved the way he explained the set up and expected outcome. The outpouring from fellow Boardsies is a testament to his contribution. He will be missed, may he rest in peace.

Still somewhat shocked by the news about MT. Never really had many dealings with him, but he was one of the first users that stuck in my mind when I first joined Boards, so it definitely feels like the end of an era.

“Wherer” a shorthand term for those who contribute to this thread. This originally started out as a thread called “I don’t know where I’m going but I know where I am”, and is generally a chill, mellow hangout thread. Originally, it was supposed to be a thread where you wrote where you were, which is why you see so many posts starting with “Work Day”, “Homeside”, and other locations, but it’s morphed into a nice, welcoming community where we chat about pretty much anything. You’re more than welcome to join in 🙂

Waiting on a taxi..I will be out for 2 hours max..delighted to see another demon joining us lol...and is grem growing a beard..which reminds me I need to book with the beautician ffs..a woman's work is never done. Hope my hubby had a good week, I was very suspicious when himself and Mam posted almost in unison the other night..I have my suspicions there and will be monitoring the situation closely 😀

Sofaside here, chilling with the TV on. OH and myself went out for dinner last night to celebrate our Silver anniversary. We'll be doing a weekend away in March, all going well. 😊

Sad to hear about MT Cranium. I presume he died before his time. 😞

MT wasn't a poster I knew well or engaged with much in my many years on Boards, but I know that he was a really good poster on the Weather and other fourms here. May he Rest In Peace.

. had to ask for more . It was 5am and got a few paracetamol now to top it up .I've been asking for morphine but they gave me stuff to drink . 30 years ago I cracked a rib in Leitrim and doc gave me an injection which set me flying all day sitting out in the van

IIn Cork with the eldest chick, she has a match down here today.

Got more bad news this morning from the missus....the Yoke passed away this morning, she was not feeling well for the last few days despite numerous visits to the vets. Today was her birthday as well. 11 years and she will be desperately missed by myself and the chicks.

2026 can **** off now.

Homeside here, loads of housework ahead. Had a surprisingly good night's sleep, probably due to yesterday's activity.

Also, can someone please shut down and restart 2026? That year is turning out to be a bloody disaster!
