    Predictable

    So easy this for Brighton

ManU are absolutely shocking without the ball. Not much use with it either for that matter. But, it's the manner of how they concede space in all areas thats really poor.

    Big last 30mins

Some goal by Brighton for the second, great build up, amazing finish

United so poor off the ball there

Fine win for Brighton. United still all over the shop.

The sign said ' Jim Can't Fix This' - not much doubt aouut it.

No idea who can at this rate.

No FA cup, no League Cup, no Europe

This will be fewest games United have ever played in a season

Are INOS worse than the Glazers running Utd’s football side.

The TNT colour commentator saying the boos at the end are for the ref not the result.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,364 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

The boobs at the end were deffo for the result and performance

Brighton didn’t do much to win it. It wasn’t a very good Brighton performance.

Felt sorry for poor Lacey. My instant reaction was the ref will give him a stern warning and tell him he’s very lucky not to be getting red, so i was surprised when the ref reached for his pocket immediately. But the ref was technically right and to let him away with it would have been unfair on Brighton.

Casemiro seemed to give the ball away a huge amount of times for the minutes he was on.

Going to be very interesting going forward to see what the interim manager does with Amad, Mbeumo, Lacey. Under Amorin’s system, you could get two into the starting line-up, much harder in a 4 at the back system. Although i think Mbuemo will be miles better in the new system than he has been as a 10. Whereas Cunha is much more suited to the Amorim system, and will be less effective going forward.

Usually gets hectic for big clubs in spring, with CL, FA Cup, League, United have a lot of room between games now, 17 games to play in nearly 5 months . It won't generate a lot of money, with only 9 home games, might build a team with all this time on their hands though

Likely they will arrange lucrative friendlies in far east on cup weekends which will generate far more money than a home cup game. And probably right to do so in the circumstances they are in.

Meant to say something similar. If an English International had bounced the ball - I very much think he would simply have had a word.

    This too shall pass.

I thought Fletcher was very good in his after match interview. You could see his passion, disappointment. anger. His comments about the ref were very biased, but he’s supposed to be biased! And if i was a united supporter i would have loved his comment that basically he was very happy to take a yellow if that was the cost of calling the ref a ballix! (he obv didnt use those exact words, but the meaning was clear).

Fletch has learned a huge amount in his two games, but ‘results business’ means he’s done as interim. But whoever gets the interim would be mad not to have him as an assistant.

Saudi or the UAE would be nearer, not as much jet lag and will offer equally lucrative opportunities.

Liam Delap peeling away to celebrate instead of following the ball and burying it into the back of the net is why he will never be a top class striker.

villa goal looked offside and that looked a penalty as well but no VAR. thankfully it’s only Newcastle getting shafted
