Gaps in HUD are icc acc icon which now can be turned off/on in HUD menu, why bother? Just give me back my App access to car and leave well alone!

Did BYD hire all the software engineers that were released from VW Cariad? Sounds painful having all these random bugs. Do you thing they'll do the VW and stop software updates altogether for the older cars?

No that's not the gap I have, they are working with me, gap I was referencing was the blank space between icc icon and right hand side blind spot icon. Have noticed the speed limit icon disappears, seems to time out if it doesn't see continuous signs HUD icons in one continuous line now

Maybe Elon could give a hand with the software? No messing with firmware yourself, updates are all OTA. Or BYD could just ask their local pals in Xpeng? They are very good with software as they knew a good thing when they saw it and just copied everything over from Tesla, more or less with Elon's blessing and of course the involvement from the Great Leader himself

And before anyone starts, in the past I have had shares in BYD and TSLA, currently I have shares in XPEV

I have fewer problems than most with buying Chinese products (cars included) and fewer problems than most with the Chinese work practices, political system, forcing people into slavery and all that good stuff. But that is very problematic

And theres nothing wrong with my phone listermint as I said before was working fine till the update now all I am getting is weak signal around the car when you try to activate any app function

So explain why 5 minutes before update it was working fine and immeditely after update wasnt and hasnt since in the same location parked in front of my house

Yes noticed all right the 3 seat presets, good point that original settings not saved, have saved now otherwise with my bad back would have been ages getting it right again if it was changed

My car now showing up as 10k away from where it actually is, looks like gps screwed. What settings do I lose and have to reset if I hold the scroll button down for a software reset ?

This is different to the issue before. Then you turn on the heated seats and then the heating when you go back to heated seats on app they have turned off. Now weak network signal actually comes up on the app which I have never seen before and nothing works. As I said earlier had to restart the phone to get the heated seats to turn off then it worked for a while and stopped again. Surely if it was a signal fault it wouldn't work at all

Radio seems much better now weaker stations like iradio working now where I could get no reception before. Like the HUD feature where the speed limit icon flashes if you go over it and that the blind spot notification comes up on it

Ya wasn't expecting it to go back to previous software version, just don't feel like having to reprogram all those bits I set up to suit me over the years like regen breaking, steering wheel feel, seat settings and other things I can't remember changing. Would be resetting it in the hope of solving gps which it probably won't end up fixing anyway.
