Slightly under 95k kms on it and car is in Cork.

It was 20,400 just before Christmas. That's the market for 2018 S75s I'm afraid.

I presume it comes with a year's full CPO warranty? Lot of car for the money.

12 months full warranty form sale date forward yes.

On the "lotta car" angle - a similarly EAP-equipped and slightly later S75D (182-D) with a third less kms was passed over at 20,500 back in Dec - the one that was bought by Platin Cars. This silver MS has basic seats and basic audio.

That's the market for older generation S75s at the moment. The Raven cars seem to command a premium, but are rare in 75D/Standard Range guise in this country.

I'd happily pay the €10k premium for a Raven P100D with 0-60 in 2.3s ludicrous (faster than any Ferrari or Lamborghini ever made) even though I despise launch control 😁

Test drove one about 6 years ago doing numerous of those accelerations on a few empty building site roads around Sandyford 😁

    There’s an S100d for sale for €31k

Not a P but looks nice.

Test drove the Model 3 today with the family and with the €3500 extra trade, so €32,984 on the road if I traded in a near worthless but NCTd banger in and free transfer of FSD, is very tempting. I have a keen interest in this area and would love to be one of the first in the country to enjoy this feature

Tesla will likely give me a poor trade in value so that option would be out

But if someone in here is in the market for a very good condition 2017 Model S75 RWD, obsidian black metallic, CCS upgrade, MCU2 upgrade, 191k km, HW3 upgrade, all cameras to 2025 spec upgrade (I think all heated), NCT June 2027, white interior upgrade which makes the car look and feel very fresh, send me a PM. Price is by agreement, but will be a bit better than whatever is out there. Not giving it away though. It's a superb car. Happy to keep driving this forever if the sums don't work for me.

Does this look like a good deal or bit overpriced for a Raven?

The €10k extra over a non Raven of a year older is only worth it for a performance model imho

    Yeah you’re probably correct there,

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 60,763 ✭✭✭✭unkel

Ah it is just my personal opinion. The premium is well worth it for the ludicrous performance. But the above car is neither here nor there. You could save yourself a chunk of money by getting a well sorted well specced facelift car of a year or 2 older for €10k less

We have seen ludicrous cars for around €30k being snapped up in the last few months, so it seems the market agrees with me

True, and even in the North there was a couple available recently, but still coming in over 30k after converting to euro - I drove the one Morgan Cars have for sale, and it’s a fantastic car (was nice seeing all the other vehicles they have also) but just a little bit too pricey, happy to hold out and keep looking for now anyway

You firmly in the market for a Raven P for around the €30k mark, or are you keeping your options open? Mind I doubt you will be disappointed owning any facelift Model S.

My last P90DL came from Morgan Cars.
They always have some fab stock!

Keeping the options open for now, as there's so much variety and selection so been cross shopping a little too. Not in any panic to change but if/when the right motor comes along then sweet

Morgan Cars is like smyths for adults 😊 fantastic stock

That 192 100D was sold from Evra Motors at the end of June. Unusual to see it back around again so soon. Almost no additional miles so it may be that it didn't agree with the new owner. Not uncommon, as this was a "rattly" Model S with a few bits of flaking trim inside. If you were coming from a quality German interior you may be disappointed.

Sale price was lower than this so Deerpark Motors are trying it on a bit here.

Haven't had any rattles on my 2016 Model S, didn't have any on my early Model 3's either. I feel like that kind of stuff gets sorted way early on while the car is under warranty?

    15/16 S great interior rep

This particular 192-G MS has a few rattles and interior trim worn or flaking.

What any other car has to do with it, I'm not exactly sure.

I had it overnight back in June but ultimately felt the price delta was too strong.

My passanger side door handle decided to stop working today.. Any suggestions or should I just get a Ranger to come out? Assuming I don't have to go to Sandyford

A Ranger can do it for sure but if so inclined the DIY fix is not that bad (YTube), if Ranger fix then you will get the upgraded mechanism that solves the original weakness in design, they used to just charge for the part but that was a few years back

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 60,763 ✭✭✭✭unkel

I have fixed window and door mechanisms before, always found them a pain in the neck, but doable (with my below average DIY skills), but haven't done them on my Teslas, just got the ranger out

Actually just looked it up. I think I had 2 of them replaced on my old car under warranty and I paid a ranger for one on my current car, last year, €355.91. Which is not a lot more than the cost of the part iirc

Have the car exactly 4 years now and that and the pyrofuse for €240 were my only unavoidable costs. A suspension arm was fixed for free under warranty and I chose to upgrade to MCU2 which was €1550

Not bad for a 9 year old car closing in on 200k km

Pretty sure all 4 of the handles were repaired/replaced under warranty on our 2017 under warranty. The passenger one stayed out twice when we first got it home, but I think it was just sticking. A bit of silicone spray into the gaps of all the handles and haven't had an issue since. They're smooth now. Just went over the 100k klms mark lastnight 😊

€355 with a Ranger doesn't sound too bad. I'l get a quote off them and see.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,502 ✭✭✭MojoMaker

Were you just inside the 4yr warranty period @unkel or did you get a bit of goodwill from Tesla?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,720 ✭✭✭✭User1998

Got the repair estimate straight away. €355 and the Ranger will be coming to my house next Saturday.

Anybody putting their hand up for that Silver 2018 S75D bought CPO from Tesla in the last couple of weeks?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,502 ✭✭✭MojoMaker

Result. After-sales is really good with Tesla.

I am 99% sure this is not a Raven update Model S, and the dealer isn't confirming one way or the other (says it all) but is there any way of visually telling? They don't provide photos of the binnacle or the vehicle information screen unfortunately, and badges can be gotten aftermarket and just stuck on so I wouldn't rely on them one way or the other.

Reg date of 3rd June 2019 and the 100D badge (if genuine) probably indicates the older motor combination?

Kind of sick of all these niggly repairs tho. Brake calipers, horn, door handles, 12v battery etc. Gonna sell it soon and just buy a 3 year old Model 3 or Y instead
