You could probably start a thread like this every year, but is it just me or are the prices of holidays abroad this year just mad? I know there arw expensive and cheap places to go to but for an average enough place i am aeeing €6-€7k for a week away in the first week in June is mad to me. Coming to a stage where its just not worth it.

YYip, Scary prices again thia year. Although I think it was just as bad last year.

A decent holiday now is >1000 per person in the party.

I put in Teneriffe for a week in June on budget travel and it approx 770pp. Where are you going for 7k?

What are you looking for, for €6k/€7k and for how many?

I'm off first two weeks to Des Ormes, France, 2 adults/2 teenagers, car on BF and club class cabins both ways for €2500 in a premium mobile I booked this last August/September.

Was thinking about a road trip for myself and the wife around Arizona in 2027 for best part of three weeks and that's coming in at approx €7k including flights, car hire and accommodation.

It all depends on what you are looking for.

Family if 5 with 2 rooms. I appreciate there is a difference with 1 room and 2 room..... did the whole cabin thing in the past and with 5 people and their ages its not an option this year.

Nearly cheaper to go to Thailand with the family than some of the European holiday spots
