Josh King is a real talent how long before the big clubs come in for him and I wonder what kind of price Fulham will put on him.

    Boards acting up again?

Awfully quiet thread compared to previous rounds.

Think it was just a fairly routine night, not many shocks so not many people are posting

BBC reporting that Arsenal v Palace will be on a Tuesday in December and Palance will play both 2 days before and 2 days after. Thats incredibly harsh on them

huge last minute equaliser by Guehi, and then a weirdly muted celebration - he almost looked disappointed!

He looked annoyed he had scored! His pre match interview was very blase too. He has obviously checked out of palace but the competitor in him still gives 100% on the field. Is he off to Arsenal I wonder?

It was like a celebration of a player who scored against their old club. Can't see Arsenal being in for him

yeah, the first thing I did was check if he’d come through the Arsenal academy or something, but nope.

Both keepers are having a shocker. Going the wrong way or not able to reach the corners.

I really should have sent that before an Arsenal penalty. Jinxed the wrong guy.

Yeah surely the captain and guy who had already scored (Guehi) was a better option there!

Another long wait for a VAR decision tonight. Fine lines and far too much made of it for me, ruled out after a review by the ref.

Ridiculous decision, how long did it take to call it and even them if was that too close to call? If it's that hard to call it's not definite

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,586 ✭✭✭ronjo

No clue why it took so long as it was obvious where Haalands foot was.

That said, overall I think was a bad decision

    Arsenal going strong tonight.

Chelsea not so much with James, Gusto & Caicedo all missing. Lots of fouls for Cucurella expected too.

First half was a tough watch, slightly better now.

How is that not a penalty. He kick out unnecessarily and takes martinelli down

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,325 ✭✭✭testtech05

I thought the same seemed to lift his left leg to trip him. I thought it was clear aswell

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 614 ✭✭✭FreshG

90th minute and no attempt on goal from open play from Arsenal yet. Horrible team to watch.

Fair enough. Only one team needed to win tonight and it wasn't arsenal. Chelsea have sat back for 70 minutes and then started to play.
