East 17/E17 are a band whose music I’ve definitely appreciated far more in later years. Some great singles.

Originally pegged as boyband fluff (especially under the guidance of Tom Watkins), but they was always much more to them than just being a rival to Take That - a Prodigy-type dance act at heart. Tony Mortimer being the Liam Howlett figure in charge of the music, the Kens as Leroy/Keith/Maxim.
