Time allowed to take the throw ins perhaps - specifically the one leading to the winner as he had to trot over

I was hoping the ref would blow it up by the time he got over there, to knock that stuff on the head. 4mins added seemed slight TBH given the goal, subs etc

Still.....defend like sh1t and that happens

Jamie Redknapp saying Bournemouth deserved that based on how they played. Incredible how he doesn't have the people sitting next to him telling him how thick he is.

Bournemouth were absolutely shite. Liverpool lost because they play awful against absolutely everyone. Slot has to go.

Maybe the head-in-the-sand element of the fanbase will now finally wake up. If I was a rival fan I'd be absolutely delighted with the clowns claiming we can't sack him mid season

Slot has to do. Another shocking performance

Strong argument that there simply isn't any progress happening. The new lads are settling in, yes, but Slot and his coaching staff aren't really improving this team. It's also fair to say that the team is very unbalanced and the CB situation is on Hughes, and it's a major blip. But is Slot really doing anything positive?

Slot out hopefully, we need a disciplinarian manager in like alonso who will berate them and get them pussies of players to get stuck in and grind out results

Passive possession, one shot on target AFAIK.

Shambolic performance again, 4/15 points now. Poorly organized and poorly coached team.

Slots a dead man walking. He has 18 months left on his contract, 6 months away from the 'last year', and not one word or noise from anyone about a renewal. The transfer team have let him down somewhat, but even with what he has this is a poor side and are exactly where they deserve to be, for what we deserved tonight and that's for sure.

    it’s all just so disappointing

    what a **** season

There are so many red flags. Suddenly Endo is playing. Robbo coming on despite seemingly close to the exit. Salah stinking the place out and staying on.

There are more but I’m just so fed up with this **** at this stage. There is no way we should be this bad.

Slot hasnt a clue how to get a tune out of this team. Not a notion.

the only question left is how much longer he gets before he’s given the boot. The risk of no CL next year is very, very real.

Bournemouth had plenty of chances, some gilt edged. A draw, on balance, would have been fair. We just seem inept at the simple stuff.

A lot of these players need to look at themselves as well. Once the league is gone they strop and stop concentrating. It happened twice under Klopp and is happening here again. So many embarrassing ways to concede and lose.

What’s genuinely mind blowing it how we keep conceding these last kick of game goals. Palace , Fulham, Leeds , Chelsea , today .

The casual arrogance of defending like VVD was the first or Szobo vs Barnsley is unrecognisable.

The very fact they have confidence to bring on a striker on late and we had the smallest player on the pitch in the mix of that goal mouth scramble shows just how ridiculous this season is becoming.

Unfortunately they did. They had a better team spirit than Liverpool and missed more clear chances. Never gave up, unlike Liverpool.

If that doesn't convince you he's out of his depth, then i don't know what else to tell you.

The second Bournemouth decide to press again at 2-2, the team lost all shape. Same pattern, every single PL game - any time we're pressed in midfield, we're screwed, and any time the ball comes directly at our defence, we're screwed.

It's simply a badly coached team.

He's not up for this. I was called all sorts for calling this back in October. It's clear he wants to play football in way i fúcking hate, and he's managed to take every bit of Klopp intensity out of us in favour of this insipid, safety first, prodding, run across the 18 yard line nonsense.

We've been shít since March, and he still doesn't think anything is that wrong.

He hasn't a fúcking scooby, and you can guarantee he'll say something stupid post-match.

I can’t get my head around how the keeper was allowed to get a quick ball away which led to the first throw. Someone should have at the absolute minimum been getting in his way or even take him out and take the yellow to regroup. Slot can’t be blamed for that.

I don't see a future for him either , just not good enough

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,344 ✭✭✭Alonso77

Its all just so passive with players seemingly having no fear of reprisals from coaching team.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,850 ✭✭✭✭noodler

There's never been anything like this under Klopp.

    This is structural

So our unbeaten run in the league ends at 10 games with a defeat to 13th place.

From those 10 games we got edit: 18 points out of 30. In match order the teams we faced are currently:

    18th, 16th, 10th, 12th, 14th, 20th, 16th again, 7th, 1st, and 19th.

We can add long throw to the low block..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,850 ✭✭✭✭noodler

Great post, last bit made me chuckle.

Thank god he didn't get a chance to make signings last season and we could play the same way as Klopp.

If we had failed to take advantage of City's implosion last season then id be devastated

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 619 ✭✭✭bdmc16

Yes should be taking 100 percent accountability for that loss . Stop making excuses for him , the players are looking lost out there . Bournemouth XG almost triple Liverpool tonight . We are not creating anything

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,373 ✭✭✭brevity

the players haven’t been good enough today.

I really wanted slot to succeed here but I think this season has been a poisoned chalice.

    Far too many individual errors.

maybe it’s time for a clean slate I dunno.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,220 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

I'm still not sure this is the end for Slot tbh, I think it should be but I wouldn't be shocked if he's still here for Qarabag.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,586 ✭✭✭ronjo

You drew 4 in a row didnt you?

Its not possible to get 17 points from 6 games

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,850 ✭✭✭✭noodler

Its interesting our goals came from set pieces.

The way we play just doesn't lend itself to creating much from open play
