What do ye think of this..
Instead of having the 16 rounds fixed (as in where they are) Why not have 'floating rounds' where they visit a country that hasnt had a WRC round before (here) and the next year they visit somewhere else and after 5 years the FIA and ISC decide of the 5 new events which one should be included for maybe another 5 years (at the expense of another event)
    so..

    15 fixed rounds
    1 ' floating ' (per year)
    x 5 years

After 5 yrs 1 fixed round is kicked out one of the floaters is included for a further 5

    so

15 fixed rounds (1 of which is the chosen 'floater')
    1 ' new floating ' (per year)
    x 5 years

but then what ?? throw out 1 st floater hmmm

    Well what does everyone think...

It's a nice idea but how many motorclubs in this country could afford the €143,000 fee for hosting?

i dunno. it's all controlled by cash, but it is a plausible idea nonetheless.

    however

in 2006 Ireland will get a WRC stage, according to the FIA.

the plan was made a few years ago after some of the guys who run/part-take in the rally of ireland invited some FIA people over here, so they approved (because ireland has naturally ****ty roads... perfect for rallying) and their plan is to hold a rally in-or-around the year 2006, but no sooner. i'll try and find the link to it
