It also damages Farage, and the close link should be continously pointed out.

No, it's a literal picture of Karoline Leavitt. 😁

It is, in fact, this artist. He's selling prints too.

That's 11 too many imo. They should be redirected to Carney and Canada instead of to the paedophile.

The sad part is there's such an easy path to victory for the democrats if they'd just drop their crazy left wing ideologies. Open borders, crazy levels of illegal immigration, DEI/woke ideologies etc. They come back to the centre on key issues they win.

Looks like Trump finally got his hand on Greenland.

Its about getting views for their podcasts even politicians have podcasts now and earnings from them. Some of them want views more than they want to win the next election.

I'd say they'd get others to do their dirty work for them.

Thinking Democrats are 'crazy left wing' is so weird.

If they ran in Europe they'd be seen as conservative and/or right wing. Don't conflate what a tiny portion of them talk about with the wider party.

This idea that they're for open borders, woke,… isn't based on anything apart from MAGA scaremongering.

Kamala Harris literally tried to move further to the right in an attempt to appease Republican voters (trying to partner up with Liz Cheney etc) and it partially cost her the election.

If anything, the Democrats can only win by going further left as in: Going back to supporting the working and middle class, healthcare issues, housing,… The reason they had millions of people not show up to vote for them is because they moved away from those issues.

You'd have to walk many miles to meet someone like that in the real world. They'd be too petrified to repeat the drivel they spew on the web to actual people face to face.

And I'd say you're very much so exaggerating the positions of democrats. Basically jumping for buzzwords. Wokeness is such a broad term that seems to encompass everything from being inclusive of minorities to coming to terms with the horrible parts of US history. We've had Trump labeling everyone he doesn't like as a DEI hire.

In terms of open borders, that is not the policy of the democrats. As often pointed out by Trump supporters when it suits, plenty of deportations under previous Democrat administrations.

Meanwhile the US government is less efficient under Trump. The cost of living has gone up under Trump. Trust in the authorities has gone down under Trump. Fascistic tactics and illegal deportations, many of which are under spurious grounds have occurred because of Trump. Conspiracy theorists have been placed in charge of national security. Sexual abusers are often high up in the administration including that of the president. US citizens are being murdered by ICE and the president is declaring them as terrorists. They have globally disgraced the US on a global stage and will struggle to ever regain their reputation.

But the real problem is illegal immigration, DEI and woke? Sounds delusional tbh.

I couldn't remember why I had Royalcelt on my ignore list, but seeing the last posts rebutting them I think it their tendency to hyperventilate.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,253 ✭✭✭RoyalCelt

Actions speak louder than words. Under biden the border was a **** show and they did it to spite trump and his wall. Turns out most Americans don't want them playing politics with their border.

And I'm aware it's a minority but they set the tone. Even MAGA is a minority of the republican party. It's kinda like a party within a party.

I'm not speaking about a coordinated effort of investor groups teaming up to sell en masse. That would make absolutely no sense as they would be driving the price down as the rate goes up. It would end up like a fire sale trying to offload faster than the rest. That's not likely to happen.

Plenty of US and Japanese bonds were sold over the past few days, so investors are able to find buyers and depending on the yield may or may not loose money.

Donnie is waking them up from there perpetual slumber. Donnie will go down as the best thing to happen to Ireland and Europe. We have taken the US Multinationals funding our whole economy for granted....maybe now we will start to understand that entrepreneurship and allowing citizens to generate wealth (outside or property speculation) is actually a positive thing.

We don't even have any form of ISAs like they do in the UK or Roth IRA equivalents in this country.

It's an embarrassment but the Irish public aren't even aware of how much they are shafted day after day. Donnie gives us hope.

That's a caricature of current Democratic Party policies. They have moved away from the Identity Politics stuff, and they are not for open borders: remember that in Biden's final year Congress refused a proposal to fix Border issues as they wanted to have this as a sort of running sore. Democrats are totally against the abuses of power by ICE: don't confuse that with"open borders", unless you are some sort of MAGA shill.

Yeah, we have a society that doesn't bankrupt people for getting sick, how terrible.

The far left stuff tends to stem from the fact that the Democrats don't espouse white supremacist, neo-Nazi rhetoric. That's where the claim comes from, not actual policies.

    Right-wing ideologies in the US;

    • Protect paedophiles and peddlers of child porn at all costs.
    • Make people poorer by having them pay much, much more for increasingly poor service.
    • Increase debt so billionaires pay less tax.
    • Destroy democracy.
    • Support racism and call it free speech.
    • Destroy the free media, replace it with state controlled propaganda.
    • Turn the presidency into an open whorehouse where services are given out for cash.
    • Create a country of utterly weak men that surrenders their manhood and masculinity to a president that behaves like a spoilt brat princess.
    • Hate women and try to reduce their rights.
    • Try to replace science with religion.
    • Conspiracy theories as fact.
    • Watch the country move towards increasing the debt to the point of default and call it "fixing the economy".
    • Keep supporting child murder with insane gun laws.
    • Attempt to overthrow the value of a vote with gerrymandering.
    • Openly lie at every turn about everything, and call anything that contradicts the lie "fake news".
    • Be petrified of pronouns.
    • Be openly scared of gay people to the point of hatred (when not engaging in homosexual acts in secret).
    • Openly embrace fascism.
    • Try and create a country run on religious texts and "morals".
    • Base the law of the land on who you vote for.
    • Fix elections via gerrymandering and refusing election results you don't agree with.
    • Watch with glee as a paramilitary force openly abuses your fellow citizen's rights and call it "law enforcement".
    • Underfund infrastructure because you can't run an economy.
    • Increase spending on a military with an already bloated budget, increasing the national debt.
    • Bend the knee, open your mouth, and eat whatever sh!t the Dear Leader lands in your mouth and call it chocolate because you're too weak, inept and cowardly to choose country and neighbour over party and must toe the party line even if you don't agree with it.
    • Frown upon and try to belittle education and knowledge.

And that's barely the tip of the iceberg.

Did I mention protect paedophiles and peddlers of child porn at all cost? That alone would destroy any type of political movement, but not the US right-wing, no sirree, the way they protect these guys they see no problem with it. If that don't tell you their character, nothing does.

He's definitely a wake up call. The US could at any time elect a deranged sexual predator and convicted criminal to the highest office. So going forward Europe should and likely will operate under the assumption that they are no longer a trusted ally. Long term, Trump has rapidly accelerated the decline of the US.

In terms of the US as a power that pushes innovation etc. Their national infrastructure is degraded and will only continue to degrade. In terms of combatting climate change, they've virtually abandoned it which could have been economically great for them. Meanwhile they're currently being outpaced by China for electric car and solar panel manufacturing. Instead they're going hard on oil and gas which our global reliance on will rapidly decline in the decades to come. Basically in every single way, the administration has fixated on the past.

That's not to mention how the average American gets in huge debt to pay for healthcare. I guess you could say they're "shafted" to borrow your own words. Even more so now since the administration is pushing medical conspiracy theories that will cost lives.

Personally I'd choose Ireland any day to what the US is currently becoming.

Debt is a function of American society no matter what.

But Donnie is looking to fix that too.

Capping Credit Card and barring Investors buying family homes something the Irish would gleefully celebrate.

Yearly immigration tops 1 million EVERY YEAR

Maybe they haven't logged onto boards to see how much medical debt the Irish think they are going to get themselves into. Lol.

His wall….HAHAHAH, is this the one Mexico were going to pay for?

You are just spouting the usual MAGA crap as normal.

But Donnie is looking to fix that too.

A man who was bankrupt 6 times, terrible business man…and you think he is fixing that?

The debt has hit a record high under Trump. So yeah, LOL.

They don't support Trump though, haven't you heard?

They say that constantly yet their posts tend to say another thing altogether.

The bonds are already being sold by China and Japan, Denmark and Sweden too. The Treasury and American Pension funds will pick up the bulk at a discount I'd imagine but when that foreign money is gone, its gone. If Europe plays its cards right we'll have Mercosor and CTPPT plus Chinese trade deals to soften the blow and America will still need European goods.

America will have no one. Alienated their neighbours to the North and South, Alienated Europe, ME is turning away as they're constantly starting wars there and they've chose to be adversarial with China too, rather than diplomatic. Which was a crazy situation seen as they chose to make China their supplier. They could have tried to invest some of that funding in South America, but they seemed to prefer to subjugate them, keep them poor, sell them drugs, then bitch when they land on your doorstep looking for a better life. Theres no one left. Maybe Donny can be besties with Poots and they can dream of when things were great.
