Do we reckon Usyk-Wilder gets done soon?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,279 ✭✭✭✭OmegaGene

I can’t see it happening, Usyk and Riyadh seem to have parted ways for some reason which seems mad and could he be using this as leverage to get another deal with them. Who’s paying big money in America for that fight it’s a non runner for most people, wilder is 40 and **** to bits, if it’s a 4am job I doubt it will get many U.K. and Irish fans tuning in either

I could be wrong but I think kabayel would be a better scrap

goldstar have a German guy on the card that’s 6ft 9 or 10 I think his name is deetz, Roman fury is also on the card

Might be worth a look, kabayel is having a knock over by the look of it

Can’t help but feel that Fury should stay away from boxing. He’s 38 this year, been through plenty of wars. His peak is gone. Had a great career, never KOd and came up just short against an excellent boxer.

There’s only one way you go at this point, and it’s not usually up.

Stick around too long and eventually one of the younger lads like Itauma, Dubois, Wardley will get closer to peak and take your head off

Tyson fury won’t fight Itouma or Dubois he’s not silly, he might chance Wardley but not for his comeback fight anyway

I think everyone would prefer to avoid Itauma until his weaknesses become more clear.

Dubois, not so much. He’s quit a few times already. You hit him good and he’s going down

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,279 ✭✭✭✭OmegaGene

I think Itouma is too young and fresh for him at his age and Dubois has. Thing to offer without a belt but I could be totally wrong.

37/38 it’s got to be all about risk v reward and they are all Queensbury fighters too which will surely have an impact on match ups, Spencer brown said Wardley would be too much for his first fight back and they need to see where fury is at and asses the steps they need to take

Kabayel rolls on once more with a 3rd round TKO of Knyba. Very impressive against a big awkward opponent who was undefeated. If anyone can beat Usyk it's either Kabayel or Itauma.

Agit great to watch. Lovely aggressive combination puncher

I love watching him too. He runs the risk though.

hmm I’m not sure about that. He’s a hard man and he walks through a lot of heavy hitting. Moses is an unknown quantity so far he’s fought turkeys

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,279 ✭✭✭✭OmegaGene

Itouma looks great but the same was said about many other boxers and they come unstuck, there’s always another new boxer that’s the next big thing, time will tell if Itouma is has what it takes

Until Moses actually fights someone decent I will reserve judgment. The real test for fighters like him is how they respond to opponents who have toughness and durability and who can return fire and bring heat..

yep, he’s great to watch but need to see him dog it out. If the likes of Dubois lands on him it would be interesting to see how that would go

No one can be sure but I'vejust a feeling he's the one that has it to be cream of the crop.

Kaybayel not beaten any one great either.

Biggest wins are are probably going the distance with Chisora and Zhang, who if memory serves me right had the upper hand until he ran out of steam, then Kaybayel stopped him.

I'm not saying he's crap or anything, just I think he'd lose against Itauma.

Fury has to stop ducking Joshua if he wants to keep the illusion that he is a greta going. Either that or just stay retired and then he can still keep talking about himself being a great.

Moses needs a fight with someone who will hit him. Until then he hasnt done enough to convince me that he is the next great. He is nowhere near it at the moment.

make sure you let fury know that 😂

The man can do or say what he likes really, he’s selling himself and some people like it and others don’t

Fury may fight Aj and he may not, I doubt boxing has even crossed the mind of Aj after the accident he was involved in recently, more to life than boxing

My man, James Toney says Wilder knocks Usyk out because Usyk has never fought someone with that wildness and power

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,424 ✭✭✭squinn2912

James is losing it. Usyk would have wilder teetering all over the place from the word go. He couldn’t set his feet and his inside game is non-existent. Wilder 5 years ago a scary prospect for anyone but he’s finished. Chisora might well beat him

I think he’s just feeling that a wild Wilder could land one to end it. We all would think that. But none of us think Wilder has any “other” chance to win.
