So, the US economy is wonderful and Trump is a magnificent President.

    Biden was the worst ever.

That's the speech in a nutshell.

now he is talking about the competition with China re: Crypto.

He said that he is announcing a new Fed chairman. He said that he has excellent candidates. He is making thinly veiled snipes at Powell. And now he is making out that Powell belonged to Biden (he appointed him)

Just popping up on Bloomberg that the EU is delaying signing trade agreement with US. Good timing while this crap is going on

He said that he is protecting people that own a house. He doesn’t want anything that depreciate the value of the houses. He wants to keep the prices of the houses low.

I thought I heard him say "Ireland" at one point.

Now he's complaining about Switzerland. Praised Swiss watches, but then said "without us, its not Switzerland anymore".

Exactly this. There's possibly over regulation in some instances which causes things to move slower but if humans by and large could be trusted not to take short cuts it wouldn't be necessary. But we all love a good short cut.

Will be lost in the churn of this thread but coverage like this gives a nice insight.

Now attacking Switzerland, saying that they had a €41 billion deficit. He touts his 30% tarif. And now it is normalising this deficit. He is denigrating the president of Switzerland. He is saying how she rubbed him the wrong way and disclosed the personal details of the conversation. Because he didn’t like her, he increased it to 39%.

Why is Europe taking his insane level of disrespect so quietly!!! The audience is just listening respectfully

The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the LORD your God.

    Leviticus 19:34

Switzerland wouldn't make any money without the US

Canada wouldn't exist without the US

    etc.

    He really is very delusional.

like the time I caught the ferry over to Shelbyville. I needed a new heel for my shoe, so, I decided to go to Morganville, which is what they called Shelbyville in those days. So I tied an onion to my belt, which was the style at the time. Now, to take the ferry cost a nickel, and in those days, nickels had pictures of bumblebees on 'em. 'Give me five bees for a quarter,' you’d say.

"Now where were we? Oh yeah—the important thing was that I had an onion on my belt, which was the style at the time. They didn’t have white onions because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big yellow ones..."

I agree, and Im sure his followers are looking at this and watching him go through the attendees one by one insulting them, saying 'theyre too afraid to look him in the eye' and thinking its great. My observation wasnt they may grow some self-respect and dignity and end this, and more that he may not be long for this world

he said that the US should be paying the lowest interest. He said that many countries wouldn’t work because of the U.S. He also said that the US military is by far the best in the world. He said that they are protecting countries

I really hope the audience doesn't clap at the end.

called Powell a stupid person and said that it was him increasing the rates. He is going to war with the economists. He said that inflation is not a bad thing. And enough growth will offset inflation. He is going against any economic theories
