    Threatening Macron now

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 975 ✭✭✭BettyS

he is talking about Emmanuel Macron with his glasses and being tough. There was polite laughter from the audience. Saying that it is hard to believe that he lives Emmanuel. I am disgusted with the audience

It doesn't matter what he says to those at Davos. He cares primarily about shoring up his own supporters and "projecting strength" even though they are blind to the fact that the rest of the world is laughing at him and America. All his speech is is a collection of soundbites to be played on Fox News.

I'd love if this actually all was in the script

Why are they laughing at him? He's an ignoramus of the highest order and he's no Mark Carney.

How much time have they allocated for him to speak?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 975 ✭✭✭BettyS

He is trying to justify price hikes of prescription drugs in Europe and if they don’t comply he will enforce tariffs. He is saying that the countries bent over to him. He said that Europe has been screwing the US for 30 years. How are the audience sitting through this

This is the most insane thing I have ever heard,

    I can hardly believe it.

Can't watch as on work. How are the crowd reacting?

    Back to yesterday's monologue

He was elected on the back of this exact type of rambling.

If hes in decline then he has been since well before now and its nothing new and the American people voted for it.

Yesterdays loony tunes hour in the White House was just a dress rehersal for todays pantomime.

He said that the drug prices are going to be the lowest in the world. Easily verifiable as false. He is like an absent father promising his abandoned children that the future will be beautiful

Again, talking about the Biden economy

Well he doesn't take prisoners. A reminder for Denmark saying that Danish soldiers would defend Greenland against US troops, Trump said, “Denmark fell to Germany after six hours of fighting” and that 'Without us, you’d be speaking German and Japanese perhaps'.

And as for that fool Rutte. from the Guardian, 'Mr Trump appears to be having fun on stage now. “They called me ‘Daddy’ last time,” Mr Trump tells the crowd in Davos. He is referencing the time Mark Rutte, the Nato secretary general, called the US president ‘daddy’ in a private text message that Mr Trump shared. “A very smart man called me Daddy,” Mr Trump added.'

Unbelievable. I never expected in my lifetime to see anyone comparable to Trump as President of the US.

still rambling and wasting everybody’s time with his perceived slights and it is his rally speech for midterms

    Occasional giggles but mostly quietly.

I doubt he will get a clap at the end

What else are they going to do? The stupid f*ck is clearly set on this and won't be deterred.

he called Biden a horrible president. There is no decorum. He is trying to act like he is going against the likes of Powell. He is touting crypto. He is blaming the financial industry that America is built upon as driving the problems

Surely, the EU have to act strongly now? You can't sit there listening to this rambling and think you can negotiate with him?

The only time NATO article 5 was invoked was by the US, and they were supported.
