    Hi guys!

I'm currently under consideration for a position on the Dublin panel of the Clerical Officer 2024 competition.

I just received my clearance email. (OOM 2094/Batch 18/Dublin)

I have an unavoidable trip in February. Could someone with experience tell me if this would be a problem for me at any point?

Yes, I will inform them as soon as I have information about who my direct manager will be. I mean, I’ll need to request for holidays on my first month…

But I would like to hear from you all here.

    Thank you.

Brillant news congratulations from my experience planned holiday should not be a problem most departments would honor or delay start date for you

If you are called to start in January, tell your immediate line manager that you need leave in February. should not be a problem.

Their are 15 in front of me still to be placed, what are my chances of being called before end of March? Wexford location. 🙏

I placed 3 oom in monaghan, done the interview stage but havent heard anything since.

Seen people message saying to email pas to check on placement, who is PAS.

Im guessing PAS is public jobs. I emailed them and they didnt give any info, just replied that they cant fortune tell if jobs will come in and that if they do it will follow oom. Ive replied asking where i am on the panel and how many are in front of me.

They normally offer the job 2 weeks after clearance comes back with it being near Christmas I’d expect offer in mid January.

Did you get email after the interview confirming 3 oom. If so one has been offered a job so you will be second in line if one comes up.

Can someone who has filled out the candidate self-declaration form help me?

I have until Monday at 12 pm to submit it and I'm going crazy.

    First box: Eligibility Requirements

    >>> What would be the basis here? <<<

I declare that I am eligible to compete based on one of the above grounds: YES NO

    Second box: Citizenship

Please indicate on which ground you are eligible:

If you disagree with the above statement, please specify the reason:

Being second box about citizenship, I dont know what to do on first box.

Not an email but a message on publicjobs website. Will see how it goes. Thought i had seen people getting asked for references for monaghan, i didnt get asked, maybe that's when there is a job.

I refer to your recent interview in connection with Stage 2 of the selection process for the above-mentioned competition. I am pleased to inform you that you have reached the qualifying standard at Stage 2 interview.

You will retain your order of merit from Stage 1 Assessment Questionnaire.

Sorry it was a reply to dt25 Unfortunately ive no idea on your question.

based on one of the above grounds, this suggests they have listed qualifying grounds somewhere above the question, choose whats relevant. Just guessing so not sure at all.

    any chance it would be:

“Legal right to work in Ireland”?

because the next field is CITIZENSHIP

I declare that I am eligible to compete based on one of the above grounds: YES NO

Please indicate on which ground you are eligible:

What does it say above this, does it give criteria.

I agree with you, but second field is about citizenship (with a disclaimer about citizenship) and says again: Please state under which ground you are eligible.

    Hi everyone,

Has anyone got any update on Wexford please? I've tried emailing public jobs the last few days for an update but haven't heard anything back yet. They are probably playing catch up after Christmas. Thank you! 😊
