    Nanks and Farrell, stunning stuff!

Imagine if Tadhg Beirne didn't give away that YC penalty early on

Excellent defence from Munster to end that (albeit a bit silly from Toulon).

That is a huge 2 match point swing avoided.

That last peno was very suspect for Toulan but overall be fecked our own chances with poor decisions!

Happy enough with that, and would’ve taken that before the game, but some disappointment there too.

    Lineout needs to improve…

Agreed - poor decision from Dickson for the pen to put RCT ahead but our own indiscipline and inaccuracy earlier in the game had cost us dearly.

Unpopular opinion but Tadhg Beirne needs to go, he's a penalty machine the last few weeks and is actively losing us games

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,787 ✭✭✭theVersatile

Tbf, JOD had given away a penalty anyways before Tadhgs yellow card, and id argue he's far more of a penalty machine than Beirne is.

Beirnes breakdown ability is phenomenal but there's going to be times that swings the other way so you have to take it as it comes. Another day he gets that turnover rewarded and the one that RCT kicked to go ahead and it's seen as a "classic Tadhg Beirne masterclass"

Like him or loathe him, Pollock is a special player.

Jimmies playing without a scrum or a lineout. Might be a long day in Bordeaux.

Wtf Was Penaud doing passing there

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,987 ✭✭✭ironingbored

    Bielle-Biarrey wow. Pure gas.

    YC Saints. Down to 13.

LBB really is a different level

Really like the way Bordeaux is not afraid to throw the ball around in their own 22 if there is space. The game really can be simple, attack the space even if that is with the ball behind your own line. Takes some mindset shift and lots of skills training but once you get it right it is wonderful to watch.

    After 36 mins

    Northampton 7

Penaud again passing when he could go himself

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,987 ✭✭✭ironingbored

    What a try!

    So unselfish from Penaud.

He knows he'll get his tries in the second half.

    1. Jalibert has to start at 10 for France
    2. Leinster need to get McNamara in at whatever cost.

He's an incredibly unlikeable player. His reaction after scoring the try was completely unnecessary.

The match commentator needs to stop creaming his pants whenever he talks about him too. It's borderline cringeworthy, he's like a starstruck schoolgirl talking about him. Medigan is almost embarrassed for him.

    Rayasi hat-trick.

Bordeaux on a different level to anyone else this weekend.

I find it funny how people comment on how unlikeable Pollock is for relatively innocuous stuff, but dirty players who go out to hurt people etc (Etzebeth, Bakkies Botha, Will Skelton etc) are widely respected in the game.

That third try from Rayasi was outstanding.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,140 ✭✭✭✭Heroditas

I agree but I also detest stuff like that too.

Pollock provides special moments but, for me, he doesn't contribute enough throughout the game.

Now, this lad Rayasi, he's special.

Northampton are a rabble. That's horrific by them

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,140 ✭✭✭✭Heroditas

So funny. Comical restart. Quite happy to see Bordeaux thump Northampton
