This point seems completely lost on the MAGA cult members. Ross knew that the victim was a US citizen and not a potential illegal immigrant. ICE have only extremely limited powers to detain a US citizen, such as in the event of being physically attacked by one - the woman sitting in her car posed no threat to them and they had no powers to arrest her or to order her out of the car. It's very likely that she attempted to speed away in the belief that they had no authority over her or to detain her.

    Remember this.

    image.png

The Daily Telegraph reporting that Starmer is in talks on sending troops to Greenland. Official reason is to deter Russia and China.

WH still withholding 2 million documents they say they need to review and redact.

8 minutes into this video mentions it.

This is the sort of misinformed post which, if repeated, can lead to more unfortunate circumstances if people are led to believe that ICE, as federal law enforcement, have no authority over them as US citizens.

They do. Title 8 US Code 1357(a)(5)

The only limitation is that the immigration officer must be performing his immigration enforcement duties at the time, and it must be a federal offense (which, obviously, includes obstructing them as well as any other offense in the sizeable book)

Paul Krugman, Nobel prize winning economist and Philips O'Brien talk about this exactly, not surprisingly their analysis imo is excellent and the conclusions, sadly, too. It's a video and transcript on Krugman's substack he made available free.

TL;DR: USA f*cked itself at an amazingly rapid rate and is screwed for at least a generation if not forever.

Trump has no problem threatening Iran , to take over Greenland by force, bombing far away ISIs in Syria, threatening Columbia, etc, etc, et. He has finished , for the moment threatening Hamas/ Gaza and the WEST Bank ‘ by proxy’. All those being engaged in / to be engaged in by the use of planes and bombs with a bit of kidnapping thrown in. The ‘ bottom line Is that ‘ he does not like the regimes/governments that govern these countries/‘countries’ for various reasons

But when it comes to Russia’s SMO he takes a completely different tact and IMO he comes down on favouring the RF. one would want to be an absolute fool to think otherwise. What is really holding him back re being up front about it and be more brazen is , iMO, the Republican Party. The same situation applies to his support for Israel. There is an extremely strong Israeli lobby at all levels of American society

I am wondering if the US army were told to invade Greenland, would they comply with those orders

I have seen up to Circa 6 VIDEOS of the scene stretching from the shooter having the ‘chats’ / engaging in ‘conversation’ with the driver through her fully down driver’s door window and before he walked around to the back of the car to the video which captured the shooting and the immediate aftermath

One of those videos include one taken by a drone/ satellite system

NONE OF THE VIDEOS CONTRADICTED EACHOTHER. They all seem to support what actually happened. Onlookers will, hopefully, fill in any ‘blind spots’

UK and others looking to go to Greenland to protect it from the Russian's and Chinese. Poor Greenland, they seem to be the meat in the sandwich all of a sudden, a US madman on a resource pillage on one side and the axis of evil on the other. Good job they have some backup now to scare them all off.

    That’s the question for sure.

Putting aside any political leanings the Top Brass might have, there are a couple of variables with Greenland that might be enough for them to push back on Donnie’s catastrophic vanity project.

    • The US Military know can set up any base they want on Greenland by existing agreement and with Copenhagen’s blessing. If they really wanted they could place all manner of early warning systems and radar bases all over the island to deter supposed Chinese and Russian shenanigans. They could start that work tomorrow without even touching Nuuk if they didn’t want to. The US Military know that they don’t actually need to fight Denmark to achieve this military objective.
    • The Danes operate under a Total Defence doctrine. This applies to all of Scandinavia and essentially weaponises everything, including civilian infrastructure, against an invader. This was designed to counter a Soviet invasion, but could provide a challenge to an invading US force as well. This is part of that “Shot first and ask questions later” headlines that had come out about the Danish military’s standing orders on Greenland. That’s not a new idea, it’s been there since the Cold War. An attempted US invasion would cost the lives of US Troops.
    • The environment around Greenland is unforgiving. There’s a reason why only a small slice of the place even has permanent human settlement. Even there, you would need troops who have been trained and acclimatised to arctic fighting. Otherwise, if you start throwing in lads from Alabama right out of the local boot camp (I exaggerate, but I’m painting a picture) they’ll quickly start losing digits to frost bite. In an environment like that, your biggest enemy isn’t the other side, it’s Mother Nature herself…and she carries a big stick.

If they US military have their heads screwed on at all they would take an order like a Greenland Invasion and say: “No Sir! F*ck you Sir! We’ll set up 20 bases up there, we’ll do it tomorrow sir! But we will not send GIs to die on the ice while fighting a sworn ally & friend as well as the hostile local population of Nuuk town. Jog on sir! Reform your order.”

Of course…this supposes that enough people in the US Military have sufficient marbles and balls to tell Donnie where to go with this.

this “—- in front of the car ——“ comment needs a bit of clarification. There are three basic positions re the front of the car issue and which are as follows :-

    Position (1)

if the car is , say, 7 feet wide and one is standing within that dimension right in front of the car and being , say, 2 feet from the front bumper then you are in immediate danger of being knocked down

    Position (2)

If one is standing to the left of the above dimension you ARE STILL IN FRONT OFTHE CAR. And if the car moves forward , even in a straight line , one will not be even touched not to say being knocked down.

    Position (3)

Ditto re position (3) above if standing to the right of the above dimension.

for the purposes of what happened and having see 6 + videos. I have reached the conclusion that position (2) is what happened. Ie the shooting happened when position (2) was taken up.

I am open to be corrected

I am ‘ looking forward to the outcome of the forensics’ . I expect them to be made public shortly after the publication of the Epstein files!!!!!!!

    #MEGA MAKE EUROPE GREAT AGAIN

Peter Mandleson being interviewed on BBC1 right now - topic is Trump and all associated stories - I’m sure there will be some prized quotes coming from this - he’s taking a hard line on both Britain and Europe in terms of having to up their game no less justifying Trumps approach to international events - honestly he sounds like former Prince Andrew talking about Epstein 😂

With his justification for doing the shooting , it is very clear from one video - unless it was ‘doctored’ - than he would have observed the woman to be of a fairly calm disposition when the shooter was talking to her through the drivers door with the window down and did not come across as a threat

.. If he had thought at that stage that she was VERY AGITATED, or/ and had a gun cocked beside her , or/and had an AK 47 on the back seat he would have immediately arrested her/ asked her to get out of the car

So why then did he walk anti- clockwise around the car and after having passed out in front of it ‘take out his gun’ and fire 3 shots into her face as she started to move forward in a right trajectory?

They’ve been ordered to draw up plans which I’m sure they’ll do-if ordered to go into Greenland I’m sure they will - but the “plans” may uncover the difficulty of seizing the areas where many citizens live considering they will all have guns and rifles etc

If Trump starts killing the citizens of Greenland it won’t end well - i can see this ending up with America coming to agreement with Greenland and Denmark to greatly expand their presence there in return for a lot of money- they don’t need to own Greenland to “work” there- however there is a lot of interest in drilling for rare minerals etc- that rape of the land should never happen as it will make the arctic another toxic waste dump - expanding military presence is one thing , with cooperation of all - destroying the country with drilling will be unforgivable

China or Russia never had a notion to invade Greenland, it's a NATO country and on the US doorstep.

More listening from piggy to justify his maniacal quest for money.

Whats up next for the president of peace? Iran?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 4,231 ✭✭✭Field east

Rubio was asked about a possible US intervention in Iran. Apart from singing from the Trump hymn sheet he specifically referred to the BRAVE and COURAGEOUS Iranians standing up to the Iranian Regime.
I wish he had the same empathy for the BRAVE and COURAGEOUS Ukranians

How about a few missile attacks on ISIS in Syria?

But wait, didn't the Donald claim he had defeated ISIS back in 2019?

Doubt it, they will hit back just as hard. Last thing Trump needs is TV showing hundreds of coffins coming off planes at US airports after another self inflicted debacle.

Given Trumps base instincts then is Greenland really a dick measuring contest with Russia? If you over lay the territory of Russia against the US mainland + Alaska then Russia is bigger. If the US could add Greenland (which is huge) then it would be as big as Russia. Add Canada as a 51st state and America is bigger than Russia. Recall how an awed Trump was at a rally and was going on at length (pardon the pun) about the size of Arnold Palmers langer. Then recall Stormy Daniels saying Trumps looks like Toad from Super Mario. The old joke was that Hitler ultimately became Hitler because he was rejected from art school. Could it be that the recent disruption of international diplomatic norms is because an increasingly senile sex obsessive rapist doesn't measure up in the trouser department and adding territory to be bigger serves as compensating for that?

It really is not that big. Trump evidently thinks it is, so you could be right abut the dick measuring, but that is because he is too thick to understand maps and Mercator Projection maps. Maybe Greenland should do a very simple (so he understands it) advertising campaign about 'we really are quite small, and completely frozen'.

it is quite obvious that they are not actually performing immigration enforcement. She was actually not obstructing them. She had already waved the ice vehicles on one of which can be seen passing her. The next vehicle chose to stop and attack her. She was a us citizen and they had no power to do what they did. They were masked thugs out on the street dressed up in some form of militia uniform. In one of those clips I saw a police badge on his chest. This was a crime in itself of impersonating a police officer. They are not a police officers. What they did was completely illegal. It also contravened the regulations set out for all law enforcement agencies in how to deal with vehicles. How can a stopped vehicle be threatening your life and the life of others. When the vehicle first moved it reversed away from him. The driver turned the wheel away from Ross and moved forward at 2or3 miles per hour. No reasonable person could fear for their life. Confirming this is the fact that he was still filming the vehicle on his phone When the car moved. He drew his weapon as the vehicle was still stationary. You can dress it up any way you like but he still murdered her in cold blood.

    is this REALLY happening?

"The UK has declined a US request to help invade Greenland. UK officials have instead met with their counterparts from Germany and France to begin preparations for deploying a defensive force in Greenland. The goal is to protect Greenland from invasion or attacks."

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 4,231 ✭✭✭Field east

the Iranians / that side of the world , and especially Islamic leaning countries have a TOTALLY DIFFERENT MIND SET when compared to the US mindset. Eg The “40 virgins are waiting for me in The next life” comes to mind

Look at what the two individuals did in Bondai Beach. I do not think that they thought that they would get away with their actions - may be jailed for life. They probably did it for Allah

So the US need to be very, very careful in what it wishes for.
Does the US think that THE TWIN TOWERS will NEVER be repeated or some as drastic if no a more drastic action?

These bastards couldn't give a tinkers cuss about the Iranians, brave or otherwise. Their only interest in Iran is the same as it was when the CIA toppled Mossadegh in the 50's and installed the Shah.

It begins with an "O" and ends in an "l" and has an "i" in the middle.

It's clear that this murderer was in no danger whatsoever from the driver and any attempts to frame it that way is just a lie.

But I suppose we should be surprised at that given where the lies are coming from.
