TAMS Grant to replace shed roofs

Have an application in for a new straw -hay store in tams tranche 9 .The process for this grant to replace shed roofs seems to be the same re planning permission ,specification etc.Applications can be completed by yourself but i would reccomend to get your farm advisor on board from the start as this cost will be asmall in the event of attaining a 60%grant for the project.The vat can also be claimed back as well so quiet a bit of money at stake.

need either planning permission or else planning exemption from the council, second thing is a very detailed Chartered Engineers report if not replacing stanchions & trusses etc. the report has to finish off by saying that there’s at least 15 years left in the stanchions & trusses etc. There was a discussion here a few weeks ago about this and I guessed they’d put planning and an engineers report in, those 2 things will be enough to turn a lot of people off of applying.

I think it’s for everything, everything you plan on replacing then has to be brought up to current specs including ventilation etc.

Section V declaration. Drawings and details of the proposed works, site layout plan, site location map, €80 fee, and a 4 week wait. You'll get written confirmation then wether the proposed works require planning permission or are deemed exempt

does anyone know if a person has maxed out the young farmer grant would they be eligible for this grant?

Somewhat off topic but I still haven't been paid my tams money on machinery purchased well over 6 months ago and all documentation correct....lad initially objected to a receipt that didn't show vat even though it did ffs

I think I'll avoid the pricks and do my own thing from now on...its unnecessarily infuriatingly nitpickily bureaucratic

My farm advisor said I won't get the grant as I can't get an engineers report to sign off the steel structure due to there being no steel in it.

I tried last year but not in acres so didn't qualify.

yeah just an old shed not interested in anything only the roof and timbers the structure will see out everyone living including the clowns in Dublin coming up with these ridiculous conditions

At the mercouser protest yesterday so only gettin back to this now.I have put in for a basic 3 bay 47 ft ×24 ft A shaped ,hard core base straw storage shed.13ft eve height.Tams grant cost 18,100 before vat.Not got tams grant approval yet.
