Thats gonna suck the very last drop of confidence and belief from us.

All setup for 3pts later in the week. Get your money on

Arsenal are going to do bad things to us on Thursday

Anyone who still wants this manager is nothing more than a loser at this stage. A naive loser

Another tough and costly goal to concede in 96-97th min again. That’s the type of scrappy 1-2 win was what we were crying out for months and it’s a 1 in million shot that costs us 2 points again. When you struggling for form it’s incredible how these things continue to go against you time and again

    Joe Gomez 🙈

No press in our own half, no movement up front, we've become lazy.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,368 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

The space he had to shoot was unreal, it was a free pop . No excuse. Making a sub right after we scored was stupid, no one knew where to be to accommodate Gomez. Slot just couldnt leave it alone

As a previous poster said Frimpong out muscled like an u13 by Kevin

Absolute fúcking shambles, and tells you more about us than if it stayed 1-1.

At 1-1, we're just continuing to be our usual limp selves.

But that there has shown us just how weak the team really is.

    Should have kept gakpo on.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,375 ✭✭✭brevity

why didn’t someone close him down?

Ugh. Really thought we would have more cop on.

    More pressure on Slot.

Easy when you simply don't allow it by having men in front of it, to deter the shot , or block it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 750 ✭✭✭Mr.CoolGuy

It's clear to everyone but a small few why these things keep happening

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,565 ✭✭✭The Rooster

Frimpong an assist machine on the right, as i’ve said before. If he and Eki and Isak can stay fit, there’ll be heaps of goals.

Pity about the Fulham screamer. Once in a lifetime jobby. 3 points would have been nice to extend the gap to 5th.

    16 points from the last 30 available while playing vs teams placed 3rd, 8th, 10th, 11th, 13th, 16th (x2), 17th, 18th, and 20th.

The Wirtz goal was 100% offside, seeing it again there. Cannot believe that was given.

  • Administrators Posts: 56,309 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

We had practically everyone in our own box. Very negative tactics at the end, we retreated far too deep.

that’s complete crap that’s where you want them he could take that shot 1000 times again and won’t score

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,565 ✭✭✭The Rooster

Level is onside. Wirtz was level.

The last few mins of ‘Champ’ is on RTE1 now for those who enjoy misery!

unfortunately there are some here who do want us to lose so they can see the manager leave so they can show how right he wasn't the right man for the job.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,375 ✭✭✭brevity

it’s just exhausting. Some of the decision making and general play is so tepid. They have no confidence

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,739 ✭✭✭✭martingriff

He go us the title last year and I hope he can turn it around with a great showing for the rest of the season. Win the FA Cup or Champions League. Do not see it happening but it will take more then a managerial change to get us going again

The draw is a perfectly fair result. And taken in isolation a draw away to Fulham is not so bad.

But….. it’s just very hard watching the same boring, beige, anaemic “style” of football we played for the first hour today. And that’s how we seem to be playing all the time now.

We improved moderately for the last 30 odd minutes and yes we almost nicked it but i think we’re all constantly watching our games now hoping to see something to cling to, some passion and fire and a general improvement. And again none of that was there today.

We had some false dawns in big games already, like Madrid and Inter etc. So maybe Thursday we’ll pull a rabbit out of the hat against the odds. But if we continually sleep walk our way to draws against Fulham, Leeds twice, etc weekly then it doesn’t really matter what we do when the occasional big game comes around.

It’s pretty grim stuff and watching us has gone from being something you look forward to, to something of a chore.

    Hwas level

Celebrating like we won the world cup then everyone standing in the box watching Harisson have a crack. It's a super shot of course but don't think he would have got that connection if there was any pressure whatsoever on him

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,114 ✭✭✭riddles

Rio should could have gotten 15 minutes. Couldnt even take a gift at the end. The footballing gods are rightly punishing our crimes agsinst football. Its going to be death by paper cuts for the rest of the season.

Finished the game with only 3 subs made and zero minutes for Rio, this isn't benefitting anyone, let him kick a ball with the reserves ffs
