Not sure how you all got on yesterday with Storm Bram.

But spare a thought for going through that with your family, in a tent, in a desolate rubble strewn hellhole and trying to save your most precious possessions - food.

Bear in mind, Israel has been refusing the entry of shelter and tents for months.

    Haaretz:

    • As Storm Byron swept across Gaza, families reported their shelters collapsing, flooding or being carried away by strong gusts. Local responders said they received dozens of reports of tents collapsing entirely, especially near Rafah and Khan Yunis, where much of Gaza's displaced population is concentrated.
    • Videos shared online showed desperate parents clutching at tent poles and crying children as water poured onto their blankets and mattresses. In some camps, residents stood ankle-deep in muddy water, trying to salvage their belongings.

I know that the executing of civilians, the press, medics and aid workers is horrific and abhorrent.

But the reported actions of the Settle thugs, slaughtering sheep and at least one donkey, plus stolen others, bludgeoning old ladies, shooting old men and burning out houses is for one thing only - the stealing of land. That in turn steals livelihoods and futures.

Now the IDF are fully engaged.

Make no mistake, Gaza is the tip of the iceberg. We are looking at pure Genocide in action here across the whole of Israel and further afield. Every single Genocide indicator box ticked - multiple times.

    Haaretz:

The IDF uprooted hundreds of olive trees in the West Bank village of Qaryut in what locals said went far beyond the scope of a military order.

The order authorized the uprooting of trees on some 20 acres of village land, but the village council said trees were removed from around 37 acres, of which only around three acres are defined as state-owned land.

The order called for the trees to be relocated somewhere else, but footage shows the roots have been destroyed, making replanting impossible.

Per the Oxford dictionary an extremist is:

a person who holds extreme political or religious views, especially one who advocates illegal, violent, or other extreme action.

Read through your own posts there Cordell. They meet the very definition.

And no, countering extremism is not "bile".

Yeah but the IDF were probably ordered to do it. You can't be having peacekeepers at peace when the Israelis are about.

I know your post wasn't directed at me so forgive me for replying to you here.

In the past I've definitely been on the side of Israel and I do agree with some of @Cordell opinions. The pager attack, IMO was genius. It's the sort of warfare that Israel is historically very good at and a great way to go after the likes of Hamas and Hezbollah. The killing of the medics however was most likely a war crime.

I don't think calling a War Crime "genius" would go down to well with most people. That might be opinion to be kept to oneself.

But sure, Israel are very very good at historically committing War Crimes and flouting international law. Just like the Germans did 80 years ago. Didn't go to well for them as I recall.

Hitler was also a genius, burning all those jews for heat energy. Way ahead of his time with the green sustainable energy. A genius…as you would say.

The pager attack may have been technically interesting, however issue here is not the ingenuity of the attack, but the callous nature of the complete disregard for any innocents that may have (and indeed were) caught up in it.

In any case, I have made no mention about the pager attack previously so I'm not sure as to why it is being brought up with regards to my comments to Cordell.

With respect to the murder of the medics, there's nothing "likely" about it. Those people were bound and executed and the perpetrators made great efforts to hide their crime as did the state, subsequently, when they denied that anything untoward had happened.

It was most definitely a war crime and the people who carried it out knew it at the time. It is, sadly, just one war crime out of many that have been carried out by Israel over the last couple of years.

Report that Randy is fine with genocide, is he a civilised human being?

United States Congressman Randy Fine, an ally of President Donald Trump, has suggested that the Palestinian people should be destroyed, boasting that he is not afraid to be called Islamophobic.

How long before Israel invades Syria to steal more land and commit more genocide and ethnic cleansing? US needs to stamp on Israel.

An Israeli minister has said that war with Syria “has become inevitable”, following developments near the Syrian town of Quneitra on Tuesday.

The Minister for Diaspora Affairs, Amichai Chikli, made the comment after videos circulated on Tuesday showing movements by Syrian security forces and armed men close to Israeli army positions in rural Quneitra. Tel Aviv described the activity as a “security threat”, although the area has seen years of repeated Israeli attacks, incursions, and ongoing violations of Syrian sovereignty.

The Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported that the rise in tension in Quneitra between an Israeli army unit and Syrian civilians occurred at the same time as a field tour by the United States ambassador to the United Nations, Mike Waltz, and Israel’s ambassador to the UN, Danny Danon.

    https://www.middleeastmonitor.com/20251210-israel-accuses-us-envoy-to-syria-of-defending-turkish-interests/

Another media article also points to a betrayal and invasion of Syria.

Israeli security and its regional ambitions come first; this is especially the case for the US Trump administration. At the flick of a switch, when Israel decides it’s time, Donald Trump will stop flirting with al-Shara’a and instead label him an ISIS militant, as will the US media. All of those op-eds supporting the success of the revolution will turn into criticism of an Al-Qaeda government. Except this time, the US will know everything about Syria and intelligence agents will provide Israel with every detail it needs to deal enormous blows to the country.

The only hope that things can be contained is that the weight of Turkiye’s involvement in Syria could end up deterring the sort of chaos that Israel could inflict. Ankara now has a massive stake in the country and seeks both a stable border, but also to win the competition that is emerging between it and the Israelis there. If it were not for Turkish involvement, the Israelis would have likely already escalated.

I only mentioned the pager attack because Cordell brought it up earlier. I thought it was very clever. Reminded me of Mossad op where they put explosives in a phone receiver and killed a Nazi or a terrorist when he answered the phone. I have no idea how big the explosions from the pagers were and if anyone else was killed or hurt.

As for the medics, like I said, it's most likely a war crime. Haven't looked into it myself but from i can see, it looks like a war crime. I'm certain that Israel has committed other war crimes too. I just don't think every war crime they are accused of is actually a war crime.

Israel shows its contempt for every other nation again and again and again. Intellexa a new terrorist weapon from Israel.

NTRA stressed the need for caution when handling links, messages, and attachments, especially those from unknown or unusual sources. Even messages that appear to come from well-known companies could be harmful, as many attacks rely on tricking users into clicking dangerous links.

The warning comes after Google and Apple alerted users in over 150 countries, including Egypt and Saudi Arabia, about advanced spyware threats from the Israeli firm Intellexa, according to RT Arabic.

Its not that complicated, committing war crimes, murdering people are not the actions that would normally be put in a sentence with the word genius. Your example of highly skilled precision strikes on well known and documented criminals may demonstrate some level of skill but again a genius act would have been those people being taken alive for trial. You don't go around blowing the heads off people. This is not a Schwarzenegger movie, its real life. Although not even Arnie could have kept up with the Israeli murder machine.

Cortesy of US technology company Palantir

A newly released biography has revealed that the US-based AI surveillance company Palantir Technologies played a direct role in "Israel’s" 2024 “pager and walkie-talkie” terrorist attacks in Lebanon.

The disclosure appears in "The Philosopher in the Valley: Alex Karp, Palantir, and the Rise of the Surveillance State," a new biography of Palantir CEO Alex Karp, authored by New York Times journalist Michael Steinberger.

Chikli is another loathsome Israeli individual - known for genocidal statements.

But topical at the moment for this particular quote, which was a direct threat to the life of human rights attorney Dyab Abou Jahjah last January:

Hello to our human rights activist. Watch your pager

    "Genius", some might say…

second part of the article covers the current status of aid getting into Gaza.

Ceasefire agreement was for 600 trucks per day. Not even 200 per day are being allowed entry.

Israel continuing its collective punishment and starvation of Palestinians.

The thing is, a lot of opinions that these lads attribute to me are simply not true, they just assumed them because I don't engage with them, because I'm not here to answer their questions.

I mean, do you really think that I, or anyone else on Israel's side, support killing of truly innocent civilians?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,383 ✭✭✭✭Tony EH

When you state that you have "…no problem with them (Israel) going after their enemies, legally or not." or that "Palestinians in Gaza and Hamas are one and the same" you signal, very clearly, what kind of degenerate position you are supportive of.

Your protestations against what people consider you to be, based on the content that you have written, are as empty as a used bean can.

In addition, you have been given AMPLE opportunity to take the floor and dissuade everyone here of any possible misconception that they may have of you, but instead you continually choose to run and hide because you cannot bear the reflection that the mirror is showing you.

Yep, I'm here to provide some reason and sanity in this antisemitic echo-chamber.

Virtually every government in the world condemned the pager terrorist attack by Mossad. Even the White House said they were very uncomfortable with it, seeing as children were killed and injured in the attack.

The only ones celebrating were the usual Zionists, racists and far right extremists.

You display more antisemitic tropes in this thread than everyone else added together.

You implicate "the Jews" in the mass slaughter of innocent civilians, blood libel and hive mind them in what all the experts are telling us is a genocide being committed by the Israeli government and military (not the Jews). Why??

The only reason I can see you do this is because you want to see Muslims, whom you have told us again and again that you hate for some reason, continue to be killed.

"The Jews" are as innocent as the Gazan civilians you frequently write off as terror supporters and collateral damage, and by calling criticism of genocide antisemetic, you are telling us it is both representative and the fault of "the Jews".

Your pov's make no sense, you have failed to back up any of it, and you scuttle off when countered with facts.

You equally slandered almost all of the international law experts, humanitarian groups, UN special committees, medical organizations as antisemetic (despite some of them being Israeli), and have neither seen nor been able to provide a single shred of evidence to support it. Yet you do not retract.

Does all this seem reasonable and sane to you?
