Hinge for a Whilpool Oven Door

I took the oven door out to tighten the door handle and then clean it while I was at it but I wasn’t able to put it back.

After many attempts I think the hinge went, so I’m looking to get a replacement.

Does anyone know or a decent spares place? Or a “scrap yard” equivalent for home applied?

Try googling oven spares. Espares and few places you put in the model number and it will list available parts for order

You could try these folks in Dublin https://charlieshiels.ie/. They're trade only and I'm not sure they'd go down to level of spare but they might be worth a ring

The exact same thing happened me a year ago with a different brand of oven. The first thing you need is the part number and you won't get that for an oven door hinge by visiting the website of a spares retailer. It's relatively easy to find a replacement grill element - that sort of thing - but for the dozens of minor parts than almost never need replacing, spares retailers just don't bother listing them.

Go to the Whirlpool website and find the technical documentation for your model. You're looking for a PDF file with lots of diagrams showing the oven literally taken apart and a part number shown for every little hinge, bracket, heating element, door panel etc. Identify the part number you need, then do a Google search for it.
