They probably need to bring the price up for a bit before they drop it again so it qualifies as a proper sale for just before/after xmas.

The more likely answer is that LG have increased the price for restocking of the TV, LG determine the retail price & the sale price from BF.

All the UK retailers are showing the same price now.

Harvey Norman doing the Samsung s85F for €90 to €120 cashback depending on the size. Seems to be comparable to the LG B5? Power City doing €100 off it to bring it back down to the Black Friday price.

Might be useful for someone who wants an entry level OLED.

    I don’t think so.
That’s the price Irish retailers are charging.

Anyone looking for a new TV, it's probably best to sit tight and weight for post-Christmas deals.

And the next opportunity after that could be early spring when new 2026 models are announced and (atleast some) retailers try and sell off their 2025 stock with decent discounts.

Local Harvey's have the B5 and S85 in close proximity. The Sammy seems noticeably brighter than the LG.

For anyone in Cork boy, soundstore have the s85 for €900, 5 year warranty, and €90 cashback from Samsung.

Have had the S85 for over a year now and it's a fantastic tv. Was meant to get the LG at the time but they oversold them online and wouldn't have been back in stock for 6 weeks.

Chap in HN took €100 off the S85 for me and I'm delighted with the decision to go with it.

I was going to buy the s85 few months back but found it didn't have the qd-oled panel so opted for the lg c4. Samsung still better than the b5 though imo.

    It's the s90 you want

I'm sure if people could get the 55" S90F for €810, like they can the S85F, I'm sure they'd do it.

Much like if people looking at watches had the choice between a Casio and an Omega for the same price.

Edit: That's not putting down Casios. They're excellent watches.

    Nope.
    Won't populate the date section.
