Yeah, but did you see the goal?
Pickfords gone from world class against us, to his best Onama impersonation.

what i would pick tomorrow. some players need to be dropped. assuming no maguire, martinez, sesko, cunha.

he wont move bruno so amad stays at 10. i'm still raging about that everton game and for me its the straw.

    lemmans

    yoro de ligt maz

    amad mainoo cas dorgu

    bruno mbeumo mount

    what i think he picks:

    lemmans

    yoro de ligt shaw

    dalot bruno cas dorgu

    amad mbeumo mount

I keep finding myself making that mistake with Ugarte. Thinking have him in beside Casemiro and push Bruno up to 10.

But then I see Ugarte make a cameo and he's just horrendous.

cos none but maybe 13 players are match fit - amorim can stick or twist - he sticks every time. and sticking aint working. especially losing to 10 men - that is near enough unforgivable.

mainoo looks crap as well - no game time.

having said all that, the league is so congested a win tomorrow would have us to 5 - 7th.

I agree with you. It’s set up nicely for us to have the advantage going into today. We should be getting something out of it. The problem is, we’re not very good with advantages. Everton on Monday night showed us that quite clearly. Someone tried to put a positive spin on it by saying “we did everything in that second half but score” - It was the only thing we needed to do. Everton set up to soak up the pressure. They didn’t take a shot in that half. They didn’t need or want to. They were prepared to wait it out, feeling confident they would keep a clean sheet. It was a dreadful performance and they should be ashamed of themselves for the lack of effort and intensity, especially in front of their own fans.

Palace are a good side. Defensively solid. Munoz is a threat from RWB. Wharton, Sarr & Mateta are all very good players. We have this advantage of more training time and more rest but we don’t seem to look any fresher or better coached than teams this season, except for maybe Liverpool. As always I hope we win but I would be surprised if we do. If we do somehow turn up and give 100% and fight like dogs for the whole game and win, that will be great but the age old question with this team will remain.. why can’t you do this every week?

Hard to see where the goals will come from.

And we can never know in advance whether United put in a decent performance, or play like they’re just not arsed. I hate that feeling.

If they put in a performance like v Grimsby, Brentford or Everton, then Palace will rip them apart.

On team selection, I’d like to see Mainoo get a run in the team. The current midfield clearly is not working.

I wouldn’t mind seeing Martinez coming in for Shaw. Shaw was just shocking the last day.

Neither of your wishes were granted. Supposedly playing Arsenal next week in a behind closed doors friendly - probably a chance for Martinez to get some match fitness.

    It’s a must win folks.

Zirkzee who’s on the way out to score a brace.

    3-1 United

These fuckers better run today, run their tired opponents off the park if we see anything close to Monday and the manager not reacting I'm done.

Jesus that whole bench is nearly left footed defenders

I just don't understand anymore. Cool drop Dorgu if you think he wasn't great last week but grow a set and change that midfield duo who were monumentally awful and worse than Dorgu.

Then we also have to start with 10 men because Dalot is playing.

"Well, yeah, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man"

2-0 Palace if I was a betting man. 3-1 would be lovely, maybe you’re right 😁

Zirkzee,Mount and Mbuemo will need to press in an effective co-ordinated way…..otherwise likes of Guehi will send quick passes into their midfielders and Cas and Bruno will spend the game chasing shadows.

The Dalot hate is so weird when Zirkzee is in the XI. There is no other midfielders outside of Case and Bruno.

Thankfully Mount in so looks like Amad and Mbeumo have been left together on the right.

lol, I'm off the sauce over 3 month and probably a bit too positive with my 3-1 there 🤣

Honestly though, I am of the thinking they’ll score. To win I’m thinking we’ll need at least 2.

    Here’s hoping

Easy Palace win as usual with a shite performance by Zirkzee.

Sick and tired of seeing Amorim stick with Casemiro and Bruno midfield.

Can't see anything other than a Palace win

glasner showing his hand. no worries though cos amorim aint for adapting.

    interesting vid, he's clued in.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,274 ✭✭✭mobydopy

It boggles the mind how you can watch the Everton game and see how Casemiro & Bruno can't even control a game at home against 10 man Everton and decide that no change is necessary.

1 change to the lineup from the Everton game is a joke!

Mainoo will probably leave in January and flourish elsewhere, we'll probably end up paying over the odds for someone like Baleba next summer and in a couple years time we'll probably question why did we get rid of Mainoo

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,502 ✭✭✭Daroxtar

Looking forward to seeing him throw on the fresh strike force in the second half when …..Oh, Nvm

5 defenders on the bench though, like for like subs anticipated.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,171 ✭✭✭NITRO95

Tell me who from the squad thats fit is missing from the bench?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,705 ✭✭✭Caustic

Well on the bright side mount starts hopefully he is fit, he will run, he will press well, he can play clever passes and score the odd goal, his only downside is he is a bit weak on the ball maybe That's injury related.

Himself and mebeumo are our smartest players so hopefully they link well
