Why no Irish type channels on Astra 28.2

    I can't understand why there are no proper channels showing Irish content on FTA. With the obvious Irish market served by the Astra footprint and the amount of Irish and people of Irish descent living in the UK, surely it would prove popular?

    I vaguely remember seeing somewhere online a few years ago, that it costs 1 million a year to run a channel on Astra? Surely if all these religious channels and shopping channels can make it pay then an Ireland related channel would be feasible?
