What to do with 20k?

RRecently Inherited 20k. Just looking for direction rather than investment info. Im 59, self employed. Will work as long as I can. Have a pension worth 230000k. House is paid for. So should I lob the lot into the pension or is there a better way to invest it??? Thanks

If you can get 40% tax relief on the €20k topping up your pension might be a decent idea.

Depends on when you're going to want to spend it. Any plans for house upgrades or similar? What's your current income and tax rate? Do you have health insurance?
