I dont get why you don't like EVs @OP. Especially now that ye are bringing a baby into this world. Surely you would want a cleaner better world. EVs are in no way boring or dull. The Leaf in either mk 1 or 2 are great cars. They are more than big enough for two parents and a child. Is it because ye don't have the time to learn how to charge it and when to plug it in etc. I know when my sister got her last car she had a Seat Leon and really liked the Seat Ateca but could not find a manual one so ended up getting a Hyundai IX35 which has been a great car. So just was two busy with life and her first child to learn to drive an auto. Maybe that is why ye do not want to change to electric.

They are a very comfortable very easy to drive car. Not much learning in that part just into drive , foot down and go, no gears at all to worry about.

However if that is not want ye want then surely a nice Renault Megane Petrol is what would work for ye. A lovely car in either generation.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.
