Piss poor performance. Not gonna waste time singling anyone out. Just so poor and thats points left behind.

That's probably the biggest indictment I've seen of the manager yet. That absolute farce of a second half where he refused to change the system, kept 3 center halves and remained with the likes of Yoro on the pitch when Everton were just allowing him have the ball. I've always been in favour of Amorin but that was absolutely pathetic. He clearly can't and won't change no matter the circumstances

Terrible performance. Absolutely no urgency throughout the match. The amount of times we gave away the ball unforced was disgraceful.

    Awful result.

80 mins vs 10 men. But we never seemed likely to win. We looked clueless really

I don't always agree with Neville but he was dead right about Shaw too. He may as well not have been out there for all he was offering. So predictable and slow in everything he was doing.

Sobering and a thoroughly deserved defeat against a team that had 10 men for most of the game, players and manager should be ashamed of themselves.

That was disgraceful performance. Crashing back to rock bottom with that. Truly awful. No positives

Top 4 is an absolute pipe dream at the moment. No way this team has it in them to finish top 4.

Bruno spent all second half standing between Yoro and DeLigt. Shaw in no man's land and Dalot as left winger. We have no creativity or style whatsoever under Amorim. Kane could be CF and it wouldn't make a blind bit if difference. He needs the boot

We never looked like we had the extra man. I guess because our extra player was a third centre back. That or Zirkzee.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,507 ✭✭✭BenK

How can you expect anyone to be happy after a performance like that? Bizarre.

We will be riddled during AFCON. The squad is so poor and taking Big Bry & Amad out of it is going to leave us in some state.

The only thing worse than that United performance is posts like this. What do you want? Positivity?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 17,254 ✭✭✭✭Nalz

Yoro and Shaw offered us nothing. Dalot not much either. I don't get what Amorim was trying to do. At least Zirksee busted a gut and got on the end of a few crosses.

We're terrible at beating or scoring against teams that sit back. I believe it's called a low block now.

You have to laugh when you hear Zirkzee and Mainoo looking for a move in January with it being the World Cup year and all that.

Also Lecce must be laughing every time they see Dorgu playing and how much they got for him. He isn't the first cousin of a United player.

Good solid performance all around from united. 70 percent pocession show the dominance. Unlucky not to finish with 3 goals

Missing a lot of attaking talent today. Zirk played well deserves a good run in the team now. Sesko and Cunha hardly missed.

Was a game for big Harry if he was fit surely have got on the end of something in the last 10 mins.

Bring on Dalot really put the freighters on Everton. They nearly crumbled.

Watching Mainoo was like watching a combination of prime Keane/Scholes in one player. Got to do all we can to keep him.

I believe in Ruben, we should all believe in him.

Theres a difference to between how fans are feeling after that display and the lads that haven't been seen in a few games that are rubbing themselves raw tonight!

    Palace away…..

Must win & anyone who feels we will after that Disgrace, is smoking something stronger than a Benson & Hedges.

Good Lord what a disgraceful performance.

    Happy pill night ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,764 ✭✭✭crusd

Yeah. Look on the positive side, the flat back 5 was still in a straight line on 85 minutes while outnumbered in midfield by 10 man Everton and losing the second ball everytime they cleared long from a goal kick.
They drew the second half. Glory glory man united.

Is that what you are looking for?

Every loss someone posts this, Jesus Christ none of us want to lose especially in that manner!

That performance wasn't all about tactics or formations, the biggest issue by far was zero energy or intensity from the players. One of the strangest games I've seen, almost every player was so flat and off the boil.

I genuinely thought boards was broken and showing me the same post over and over but it was just you crying about 5 at the back all night....did you see 5 across midfield when we were attacking??

The amount of shots we had shows a quality issue than back 5 issue!!
