Anyone here imported a 50cc moped/scooter from Germany and then vrtd it?

I bought a 2014 kymco people 50...the seller explained there was no vehicle registration certificate with it only a Coc.

vrt registration wasn't completed due to this. Today they rang me to say the Coc is not sufficient and the German vehicle registration certificate/logbook is required.

I have talked with my German relatives and 50ccs over there only come with a Coc and no log book (Zulassungsbescheinigung)

125cc and above however have both a logbook and Coc.

How can I convince vrt office of this?

Maybe try a different VRT office? Some of them are jobsworths who don’t deal in common sense, and of course, they’re always right. But there are some decent VRT guys who will listen to you. You just have to find one.
