Tams Slurry storage

You need to have the required mandatory storage for the area you are in (16/18 weeks) before applying for the TAMS grant for slurry storage. Your advisor should have spotted this before submitting the application. Have known farmers who have been cross reported by Department to county council for breaches of nitrates.

Has he taken over the farm? We're uou compliant or is it because he has put on extra numbers after taking over?

He only has to be compliant at the time he makes the application.

Is there some way that he doesn't have to have the full complement of stock in his herd number. If he applies at yhe time of the year when stock numbers are at their lowest, would he qualify?
