Budget soundbar recommendations

Hi Richersounds,

Looking to get the best budget soundbar for my LG TV (65NANO816NA 65").

I find it very hard to decipher voice audio vs background music/noise when watching films, series etc, so it will used mainly for that. Don’t have much need for listening to music.

Budget is around €200, but willing to go higher if there is a need. Also open to getting multiple speakers for surround sound experience.

If dialog clarity is the main issue, I’d look at something like the Samsung HW-Q600C or Sony HT-G700 if you can stretch a bit over €200 – both have very good centre-channel performance and a “voice/dialogue” mode that really helps separate speech from background noise. If you need to stay closer to budget, a Sony HT-S400 or LG S60Q is still a big upgrade over TV speakers, and you can add rear speakers later if you decide you want more of a surround effect.

The best value soundbar would be Polk Signa S2 which is on a VIP price of €179 delivered.

I use a Sonos Beam but you jump up to €468 delivered.

You can add rears and sub tot eh Bema over time to give a full 5.1 setup.
The Beam can also process Dolby Atmos.

The Hisense would also be a good shout.

It would perform better than the Polk and has the benefit of the rear speakers to give a much fuller surround sound experience.
Only issue is it is currently out of stock, fresh stock is due to hit our main warehouse on the 24th November.
