Quick one - looking to pick up a new ODB2 dongle - have always grabbed them for 10 or 20 quid (or even less) for the little Bluetooth/Wifi dongles you read via an app on your phone. Is there any benefit at all to a handheld unit, or is it the exact same information, and just cuts out the need for a phone/app?

What are you looking to do with it? Obviously the really dear ones are for garages and are a lot more capable. You can get some cheap ones that are the same as the dongle but it's a mine field to know which ones do what.
