Not sure where else to put this. From Paris-Roubaix on sunday, you've got one chance and 0.1 of a second at this (from fb):

Nah, you take a high quality video, then pick the frame you want😁

    A brilliant shot, nonetheless

Fresh outta the box courtesy of Bike24 via the bargain alerts thread.

Helium SLX. I saw it and thought it was a good deal but then went back researching it a bit and decided it was an amazing deal. One of those "one-size, one-left" clearance bargains. Genuinely Ridley's top climbing bike til it was replaced with the heavier, more aero Falcn last year. Came fully built as seen, I just lifted it out of the box!

Currently trying to figure out how Sram AXS setup works!

Yep, worthy of inclusion in this thread - congrats. Lovely clean lines.

Seen this one too, great price.

Have etape Ax Force on a Specialised SL6, really like it, 2 batteries are great, as you can swap them out if rear mechanism one dies, just chose front ring which suits best to continue.

Absolutely. The gearing is great. Offers the short gearing of a Shimano compact and the higher gearing of a 36:52 mid compact all in one.

The bike24 price was 25% off the above again!

Wonder if there are still a few left in size S (54)

Gearing is top notch, mine has on a 48 big ring which i was initially concerned about but with the 10 on the back it's plenty enough. 34 small on front and 32 or 34 can't remember will get you up any hill.

Yeah this a 48/35 and 10/33. The 35:33 is a proper granny gear

Best of luck with it, I picked my specialized SL6 with only 464kms on it, a start of covid purchase by an ex French racer who never got back into it. Picked it up for €3,250 including pedals, practically brand new Wahoo bolt with 464kms on it.

In blue on alltricks in L and XL for €3k, its a cracking deal.

    https://www.alltricks.com/F-41505-velos-route--cyclocross--triathlon/P-2873491-ridley_helium_slx_disc_road_bike_sram_force_etap_axs_12s_700_mm_blue_black

Was very tempted myself but I've gone for something with local bike shop I could use bike to work on. Only frameset so still need to get groupset and wheels. Probably Sram Force E1. Will end up costing a little more the Helium but lot will depend if I upgrade finishing kit and how mad I go on wheels. Allows me to spread the cost a bit also. Could save a nice bit if I just reuse my carbon Shamals and buy some alloy rims for the bike they are on. Similar style to the Helium that I think will be well worth a spot here!

Blue is nice too alright. I'm hoping silver in a bike is as good as silver in a car for hiding dirt 😊. The Helium is gonna be my posh winter bike.

Just L and XL left on Alltricks, which is what 58 & 60?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,011 ✭✭✭Plastik

    More like XL and XXL

Didn't spot yesterday that the alltricks Helium comes with Fulcrums Quatro's so not quite as good a bargain.

Their sizing is weird alright. Their L and XL would certainly be bigger than most frame manufacturers.
