    It was 100% a yellow card. You cannot tuck your arm like that and then make head contact with the shoulder.


    it won’t be upgraded purely due to the lack of force but Beirne is lucky there.

    Are you not listening to what's going on? The big screen isn't working so the ref can't see it and he's the one who needs to make the call.

    Both players just ran into each other. The ball arrived as the players met. The first contact was clearly both set of arms, not shoulder to the head so the TMO definitely had an agenda there. It's a penalty alright but even a yellow is harsh there.
