Huge concern for Ireland going in so cold to this game but there wasn't much wriggle room to squeeze in the fixture.

    Predictions anyone?

    Im going 27 -17 NZ.

Think we could be in for along night in Chicago. 29 - 12 to the ABs - hope i am well wide of the mark.

Hard to see where our tries are going to come from. Think many of our over the hill players will be exposed tonight. If we keep it within 10pts it'll be a victory of sorts.

    NZ by 15+ I think.

Irish home game and New Zealand in holiday mode

James Lowe and Tommy O’Brien to score 2 tries. Jack Crowley to convert both and land 3 penalties.
Kelleher scores off a rolling maul and Prendergast nails the conversion to win.

    30-28

Irelands golden era seemed to start with that win in Chicago. It was a gradual upcurve since then. Today feels like it could be the end of that era and the beginning of a slide back down the ladder to a consistent 5th or 6th position.

I'd certainly give NZ the edge, but above all we cannot afford the typical Irish sloppy start.

If we can complete a few set pieces on our own ball early on, if Crowley can get a few settlers from open play and the tee, we're every bit their equal.

Weaknesses? McCloskey and TOB will be targeted, but we have a better overall backrow than NZ, albeit Savea is the best loose forward on the pitch. So to provide a platform he'll have to be managed, and goaded into some ill-discipline.

Right now I'm thinking 25-20 to the Kiwis. A performance from Ireland is more important than a result.

The Jack Crowley montage on Virgin Media via TG4 looks like it’s been streamed directly from the website with a poor connection! Sure they could have got better quality footage than that!

Yeah laughed at that myself. The brightness when they cut to Soldier Field too ain't great.

I’d say everyone thought their dodgy box was playing up.

What has frustrated me with previous Irish showings v NZL is it almost felt like the game meant more to them than it did to Ireland, like they would sacrifice a leg to win the game…I would love to see that level of determination for Ireland today as it’s been awhile since we’ve seen it in this fixture.

For me, as long as we put in a strong performance and write a lot of the wrongs from this fixture from last year I’ll be satisfied, this is almost a free hit give the circumstances so I would like us to excel at all the area’s in our control and let the result take care of itself.

Thank God, somebody broke the Ireland's Call tape.

Doesn't sound like Irelands Call to me.

Could they not find someone who could sing, that was atrocious.

Roigard absolutely thumped that out of his 22.

    Incredible kick

The ball given away to NZ during the Irish lineout was embarrassing.

Sheehan release the tackled player and engaged with the clearer, wtf was wrong with that? Is it going to be one of those days with the ref?

An insult to Anthony Foley rather than a tribute.

Damien Varley would have done a far better job.
