    so folks,

I’ve been dealing with a persistent vibration in the steering wheel on my Model 3 RWD. It’s most noticeable at low to medium speeds, especially on smooth roads, and feels like excessive road feedback or a light humming vibration rather than a typical wheel imbalance or brake issue.

Here’s a summary of what’s been done so far over multiple(6x) Tesla service visits in past 10 months since purchase:

    • 6 separate service appointments – issue acknowledged but not resolved.
    • All 4 tires replaced (and balanced multiple times) – no improvement.
    • Brake rotors inspected – confirmed not issues
    • Front alignment checked – slightly off but corrected; vibration still present.
    • Tesla confirmed that in RWD models, the front wheels only rotate freely if both are lifted, which is normal.
    • Test drive after service - service technician denied any sort of vibrations on the face after multiple back on forth conversation during the test drive, I could feel the floor shaking but he kept on insisting that its normal for EVs/Tesla.

The car drives fine otherwise — tracks straight, no pulling or noise — but the steering transmits constant subtle vibration and road texture, especially right after moving off. It’s more of a refinement issue than a safety concern, but it’s frustrating that it persists after so many checks and a full set of new tires.

Multiple tesla forums online and facebook groups in US/UK have similar issues with vibrations in steering wheel but no luck so far. US has lemon laws but if we have something similar I am really ready to fight tesla at this point.

Can someone point in right direction here, any advice is appreciated.

If you're getting a humming sound it might be a wheel bearing.

Have you compared it to another M3? I had a 2022 and mine definitely wasn’t like that.
