Do ye know the name of that one, Pat? I'd like to have a chat with anyone who knows their gin's from their Juby's. It could get interesting :)

That's called an Everitt Rat Trap.

Ive an old James Bateman book on Animal Traps & Trapping, picked it up years ago somewhere, its yours (free) if you want it.

Ye correct on the name there, @JP22 👍️ Isn't it an Iconic trap?

I think it might have been Bateman where I first came across it? Made an impression on me, that book! Made the Everitt quite the fixation, for me.

Appreciate the offer. Try to find a younger person to take an interest in it. See if it can fire anyone up like it did me, back in the day 🙂
