I recall having issues setting up. Left it and came back a couple of days later and worked fine. I recall reading comments on reddit reporting the same.

6 months later with Turkish YT and I need to top up my account; is Turgame still reliable for gift cards? Upon checkout it's asking me to verify my mobile number, I don't recall that previously?

I topped up Apple gift cards also a couple of days ago. Mobile verification is needed or else the transaction will fail. I did it early evening and the order was not processed until the next day.

What I like about purchasing apple giftcards with Turgame is that you can order a gift card for a custom amount between 25-1500 TL.

My balance was ₺137, so I was able to purchase:

1 x ₺1000 gift card
1 x ₺123 custom gift card

This gave me a ₺1260 credit balance - enough for exactly 6 months (assuming no price rises).

The conversion rate on the custom card is not as good as the set amount cards, but the difference is peanuts.

You can create your appleID and buy itunes credit on any device. You just need the iphone or other apple device to add your credit to itunes and create the youtube sub. you would also need the iphone to add more credit in the future though you could buy enough now to do you awhile

Still can't get this to work, I even tried a fresh YouTube account to no avail :( So I bought a cheap iPhone to do the job and now have 1500TL credits sitting redundant also aaarggghh.

VPN & signing up from Bulgaria seemed to work for me, this morning.

My Peruvian subscription was flagged earlier this month and runs out next week.

Let's hope the Bulgarian one works for a few months.

I too got the 'your account will expire on 31st Oct 2025'

I was able to use itunes on my windows laptop and renew the subscription that way.

I think and hope I'm all set now again

All these Turkish wobbles has me a bit concerned that the apple method is not as rock solid as I thought.

In saying that, my account is fine/unaffected with emails etc, but I've a good few TL loaded onto the account, I wonder if that had any relevance?

Strange one, I wonder was it a widespread issue that perhaps legit Turkish accounts got caught up with also, and I wonder what criteria they were using to send the mails and cancel the subs?

I've smart tube installed on my main telly in the house (android) and it's good, (like extremely good) to fall back on if this goes tats up, where I'll really feel it though is, we have Google speakers throughout the house, so will have to resort to casting from phones if worse comes to worse

Balls, my Turkey subscription's stopped working and I didn't get a mail.

But when I went to watch something on Monday I did get a message saying "this could be your last ad free video". I knew my Turkish credit was due to expire soon so thought it was that and bought more credit a few days ago, I did notice there was actually still enough TRY left for a month or 2 though…Premium then expired yesterday.

I just tried to renew and initially it shows the price in TRY, but when I click renew it's then in Euro 😒

Mine also expired Thu and I went through the Apple Turkey process yesterday, adding more Apple credit, but noticed when added that I still had some original credit on the Apple account. So for some reason Premium expired even though credit was available. Once reactivated I did get errors saying YT could not confirm Country.. (thought oh no they've copped the Apple/Turkey solution!) but I ignored it for a few hours and excited YT account on other devices and premium was available when I logged back in again. Has been working fine on all devices today (TV, laptop, desktop and 2 phones!).. so let's see (have +12 months credit now!)

The iPhone is only needed to sub to youtube. You can add credit on a pc with the apple TV app. Doesnt work on an android phone with the app though.

Hmm, I use Apple Music and you're forced to use the Apple Music app on Windows 10 for that…when I open iTunes its functionality has been pared back to bare bones (literally just Podcasts) and seems like I can do nothing with it anymore - clicking 'my account', 'redeem' etc. does nothing.

I was getting the "cannot verify your country" message through the YT app, I even tried changing the phone region and time zone, plus connecting to a VPN but no joy.

But I got it sorted through the app store (I think someone else had mentioned doing this); click your profile icon in the top right, click your name, scroll down to subscriptions and there was an option to renew YT there.

Back in business (for now anyway!), phew!

Hi everyone, looking some help here.

I've been using the Apple Turkey method for a few months now. Thought I had enough TL in my account but payment was declined. I added more TL to my Apple account via Turgame gift card but when I go into 'subscriptions' and YouTube it asks me to 'update payment method'. It doesn't allow me to use the my Apple account balance.

Any way around this? TIA.

Edit: solved it (I think). Went into 'see all plans' and was able to resubscribe.
