    They play a version of it, but its not the Mavis Staples version used in the film. At least it hasn't been previously.

    Holiday road was the theme from the original 'Vacation' film. But it has popped up in other Vacation films in the series too.

    I genuinely don't remember it being used in Christmas Vacation though and I mast have watched it about 50 times at this stage 🤣

    You're correct! It was used in 4 'Vacation' movies but not Christmas vacation. That feels wrong somehow. I suspect parallel universes.

    Thanks for confirming, having watched it so many times & never noticing it in Christmas Vacation I'd have questioned my head big time had I missed it each & every time 😆

    Same complaint as last year tuned into ChristmasFM online while doing some housework and the DJ doing the links came across as embarrassed to be wishing everyone a merry Christmas.

    Dude you’re Dj’ing on christmasFM not 2fm people know what they’re getting when tuning in. DJs should be leaning into it not embarrassed by it.

    I put Christmas FM on for my journey home from the airport. Wasn't sure if I was feeling it during the first song. The second song that came on was Dolly Parton, Holly Jolly Christmas, so I had to quickly turn it off! That song is definitely not one that is ever going to grow on me.

    I tuned into ChristmasFM twice on Sunday and both times I caught the DJ chatting, they're deffo seems to be alot more DJ chats this year online than anyother year, great to see.

    The first lad very cleverly said bringing you another hour closer to…. The FM launch instead of another hour closer to Christmas.

    Listening in for the last few minutes & caught Nobby (from Nova) filling in the DJ slot, so it looks like he'll be around again for this years run, excellent as I tend to like his shows.

    and for the first time this season…. Andy Williams, Its the most wonderful time of the year!!

    That's going for 4 in a row in terms of launch songs btw having been the launch song the last 3 years.

    Loved him when he done the morning show on FM104.

    I put it on yesterday while making dinner but it kept stopping, not sure if it was the Alexa or the station.
