Where did acknowledge Israel funded Syrian groups at all? Can you show that please?i

I know you are floundering and desperate to keep blaming Israel and appear incapable of NOT blaming Israel for everything. But I have repeatedly said I've no interest in your irrelevant strawmen no matter how much that upsets you.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,120 ✭✭✭SafeSurfer

Yes PJ, floundering to understand how you acknowledge (ok, you actually said, don’t deny) sorry if I misinterpreted you, Israel funding ISIS linked groups in Gaza but to suggest they would aid Al Queda linked groups is absolutely unthinkable.

So to recap, you also disagree with the ex head of the IDF that they provided assistance to Al Queda linked groups in Syria? Is that fair assessment of your position?

I think you should start a thread about Syria since you no longer want to discuss Gaza to force your strawman agenda.

    Irrelevant to this thread.

Do you expect them to leave them available for Hamas to use again or maybe they should turn them into a museum?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,120 ✭✭✭SafeSurfer

Oh I see PJ. It’s irrelevant to this thread to explain something you said on this thread but can’t explain.
    Sure 🙄

’strawman agenda’ just cos you don’t like it … You’re so shallow you wouldn’t even be considered a puddle of water 🤣🤣🤣

The Doghmush are relevant. The Syrian Civil War is not relevant.

And now the petulant lashing out.

    Charming.

How many posts is that now. I wish you were as intent on answering the question as you are with controlling the parameters of the discussion.

How about answering the questions rather than trying to control the boundaries of the thread?

What are they doing in the Hyacinth house?

The irony of you accusing anyone of "petulant lashing out" when its precisely your own MO. All you need to do is read back through your recent posts to see precisely how you react to other posts - "desperate", "shrieking", "irrelevant spiel" are your typical hysterical reactions to posts simply asking you questions. Predictable as ever.

As regards Doghmush, some have have stated that as well as proven arming and funding of criminal gangs and militias in Gaza (which Israel admits) there is evidence they have indeed supported and possibly funded the Doghmush Clan.

In early October, Nizar Doghmush, head of the clan in Gaza City, told the Los Angeles Times he had been contacted by the Israeli military to manage a so-called humanitarian zone in Gaza City.

He told the newspaper he refused and added that the Israeli military then bombed his neighbourhood in Gaza City, invaded and systematically destroyed houses.

The Doghmush and Hamas have an animosity towards each other, which in the past has devolved into armed clashes.

But Israel does have a history of funding and supporting groups in an effort to foment internal tensions.

Did you somehow miss the part where he said the Doghmush refused the Israeli offer? Christ I've said this all yesterday yet rather than talk about the Doghmush its been all about Syria to move the goalposts.

They dont need Israeli support and have all they need without Israel support. I have been clear in that I have no interest in strawmen about Syrian groups but just the Doghmush who are currently fighting Hamas in Gaza.

The Israeli's naturally are happy that the Doghmush are absolute thorns in Hamas aŕse. And have offered to help, (I admitted that yesterday FFS) but the Doghmush have never accepted because they simply dont need it.

The clan is very much a 3rd party in the area who has no time for either Hamas or Israel. Israel have tried to work with them (again I said this yesterday) but have been refused by the Doghmush. Hamas like to claim the clan collude with Israel as a smear campaign but there hasn't been any sort of evidence between the two. Other than Israel perhaps not going into Doghmush controlled area's due to them somewhat respecting the shared hatred of Hamas.

At least at last someone was happy to stay on the topic and talk about the relevant clan.

    Some good news.

Israeli gymnasts will remain barred from participating in this month’s world championships in Indonesia after the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) rejected an appeal by the Israeli Gymnastics Federation (IGF) seeking to secure their inclusion.

The ruling, announced Tuesday in Lausanne, effectively ends "Israel’s" hopes of competing in the event after Indonesian authorities refused to issue entry visas for its athletes.

The IGF had urged the CAS to compel organizers to “guarantee the participation” of its gymnasts or to relocate or cancel the championships altogether. The Israeli body argued that the visa refusal amounted to “a situation of discrimination.”

However, the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) maintained it had no authority to override Indonesia’s visa decisions, emphasizing that the issue fell under national jurisdiction.

The Israeli government does not want the dead hostages back as they can be used as an excuse for more genocide and ethnic cleansing.

A senior Hamas source told MEE that Israel bears responsibility for delays in locating and returning the bodies of captives still missing in Gaza.

The source said that Hamas had made it clear to Israel during the negotiations that the scale of Israel’s onslaught would make it difficult to locate the bodies of dead captives quickly.

They made it clear during the negotiations that time and great efforts will be needed after the withdrawal of the occupying Israeli forces, to collect information about the bodies,” said the source.

The source said the scale of Israel’s destruction had transformed “the geography of the area”, making it “extremely difficult” to identify locations where the captives' bodies are. The source added that despite Israel's bad-faith efforts, Hamas was fully committed to returning the bodies of captives.

This is what I asked you about PJ.
You accuse others of creating strawmen yet allude to a claim that nobody has made.

Former IDF Chief Gadi Eisenkot confirmed that Israel armed and funded Al Queda affiliated groups despite Israel denying it for years. Israel also denied facilitating the funding of Hamas. Now Israel deny aiding Doghmush.

Why are you linking Israeli support for Doghmush with Israeli support for Al Queda?

Throughout this thread posters have brought up other conflicts, so this objection is nonsene,pj. You are correct Israel hasn't funded the Dagmush clan, but they have funded other gangs in Gaza- Bibi even admitted to it. Ex US and Israeli officals have often complained about this strategic use of Islamists, mostly by Likud

It seems Donnie is alright with Hamas being in power for the time being. He stated he had no problem with them taking on the Dagmush clan. However he also made it clear Hamas will have to disarm.

Remember the woman from Texas that was sitting out on the Israeli Gaza border a year ago waiting to kick the Gazans out so she could move in. Colonialism gets a bad rap I think was what she said…

Tony Judt was correct, Israel came too late. In the age of video, social media and with the general consensus now that kicking out the indigenous population from their homeland (if not murdering them when they don't), this mentality doesn't belong in the civilized world..

I could give you a number of answers. You can pick 1

    • I expect after an agreed end to war, you stop bombing the other country.
    • When a war is over, you leave the country you invaded.
    • If you dont like the tunnels then you shouldn't have paid for them to be built in the first place.

Why doesn't israel recognise palestine as a country. Help to maintain peace and security while the west bank and gaza hold democratic elections for resident palestinians. And then fu*k off back to their own country bringing the israeli settlers [criminals] with them.

When you try to control the boundaries and narrative you are losing.

It's interesting to note that the war in Ukraine thread has "what can I do to help" in the title while the thread about the Palestinian genocide doesn't.

Trusting Bibi and the Israeli government is like trusting the Tory government during Brexit.

The was criminal is already itching to get the war crimes back up and running.

Giving unrealistic ultimatums to Hamas about returning the dead hostages.

And then fu*k off back to their own country bringing the israeli settlers [criminals] with them.

Which is exactly what the International Court of Justice directed them to do. Oh, and pay full reparations to all Palestinians.

And you ignore all the former agreements and willingness of Israel to recognise a separate state which the so called Palestinians refused at every turn. Reality is the Hamas and the PLA don't want a Palestinians state because that would remove their need for jihad and wiping out Israel which is the goal.

Not to mention the total withdrawal of Israel including its dead from Gaza in 2005 with the Gazans promptly electing a terrorist organisation as it's government.

You're aware that Ben-Gvir, the Israeli National Security Minister, is a convicted terrorist?

And Netanyahu is an alleged War Criminal, currently on the run from the Hague?

So was Martin Ferris and Martin McGuiness. Have you a point.

The Israelis promptly elected a convicted terrorist as prime minister when the British withdrew.
The two sides have so much in common really.

The Israeli government confirmed it has canceled planned measures against Gaza, which included cutting the number of permitted aid trucks by half. With the reopening, an estimated 600 aid trucks would be allowed to enter Gaza today.

Not only that but has any party to a peace deal ever been excluded in negotiating it before? I can't remember it happening before and it sounds ludicrous. Hope for the sake of the innocent people of Gaza that it works but if I had to give it a percentage chance of succeeding it would be less than 20%.
