Well, that was a very enjoyable ass kicking delivered.

We've got a game here at least. Henry had to catch that, can't be missing chances like that against the Bills.

Think we can put to bed any questions about who is better between Mac and Drake at least. What a **** win. Haven't been excited about our games for awhile, nice to have that again. Beating the Bills in Buffalo. All is right with the world, the nightmare is over.

Unbelievable result. And outside of Diggs I don't think anybody was at their best on offense. Maye was solid, Rhamondre did well after an early fumble.

Maye has definitely improved after a not so great start to the season, I like what I'm seeing now.

The defense was fantastic, I could talk about every player but I'll just mention a couple.

Marcus Jones amd Christian Gonzalez were superb and that's a really big deal for us. Spillane is a great player and Ellis isn't far behind him.

To end the Bills unbeaten start to the season just fills me with joy and hope for the season.

3-2 now, one game behind the Bills who we have to play in New England in mid December.

Our next four are the Saints, Browns, Titans and Falcons. It's possible we could be leading the division after that run of games.

That's a statement win. So many positive takeaways from it.

Gonzalez is by some distance - and that's no disrespect to the others - the best player on this team. He may well be the best CB in the league, though you're splitting hairs with Patrick Surtain there. But he is unquestionably an elite talent that is going to reset the market for CB money this year, and he'll be worth every penny.

Also, find someone who looks at you the way Diggs looks at Maye.

Those penalties on the Bills last td drive were infuriating. Vrabel needs to be putting his boot up some asses after that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 288 ✭✭Doogs27

HOW, did he get that ball out to Diggs out of the sack on the last drive. Unbelievable.

the only thing that would worry me a bit is that they got a lot of joy on the bootleg to the right with Diggs tappy toe sideline catches. Cant rely on those fantastic catches or that teams won’t be spying to Drakes right on tap.

Echo what was said above though, it’s exciting to see a team fighting and clawing and executing a two minute drill in prime time once again.

Yeah it's fun when it works but Maye has to get better in the pocket to take the next step. You can't consistently rely on those scramble plays.

Great win, plenty to build on

he missed a wide open, possible TD throw in the first half when he bailed in the pocket too soon. Definitely needs more consistency working his reads. A least we know he can make off schedule throws when scrambling. A massive improvement on Mac in that regard. He made some phenomenal throws under pressure, where he had to push it deep into tight windows.

Maybe Maye will go all the way….but Vrabel is here to stay!!

OL is settled, LT Campbell looking really solid with C Bradbury and Maye looking more and more comfortable.

Vrabel and Kuhr starting to get defensive unity. Gonzalez finally back at right corner and Jones at nickle corner is a nice fit. Its helping man coverage in a big way with Barmore and Williams a beast of duo at tackle for the rush.

Woodson looks like yet another brilliant NE safety. Teaming up really well with Hawkins.

First back to back wins since November 2022.

Fumbles and Penalties have to be eradicated and there is real potential to win 8 or 9 more games.

The Steelers loss is a reminder where it can go wrong. Quickly.

Shame that AJ Brown's contract carries so much dead cap for the Eagles. He would be a great trade target for us to make a play for. The RB options don't look great, with Gibson out now.

I'd love for us to make a play for Kenneth Walker but it's hard to see that happening.

Gonzo limited at practice with a hamstring

Limited on a Friday is not good. Hopefully iud only minor and they are being cautious.

I see Kurt Warner was talking about Drake. He said he is playing a bit too much backyard football which he describes as getting out of the pocket too quickly too often. Pretty much says you won't have a long career if you keep doing that. He didn't criticise him as such, he said some good things about him.

I've always considered Kurt a fair analyst so it's something that might be worth looking at.

I think it's important to note how young Maye is too. At the end of this season, he'll still be younger than Jayden Daniels was at the beginning of last season.

But I have noticed that about him too - how quick he is to abandon the pocket even when it's not collapsing or pressure isn't getting to him, but the likes of Allen and Jackson did that a lot too early in their careers so it's definitely coachable.

Overall, there is a lot to be excited about with Maye.

Drake is on fire this week. He's really starting to excel now.

Drake threw an incredible ball to Diggs but it was called back. 😠

Getting screwed by the officials. Only 1 side being refereed.

Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

the follow up throw was right on the money too, Hollins would've caught it if not for the DPI.

Great win today, dug it out in the face of some terrible calls. Our run game was abysmal though. McDaniels needed to give up on it, Saints were teleporting into our backfield.

All of a sudden its fun watching football again, Drake is unbelievable, remember he only played 30 college games to so is still learning.

All this with a non existent running game

He's not far off being a serious MVP candidate.

I can't believe we are leading the division. The Bills suddenly don't look good.

A big night for the coach, I'm sure he'd like a big win.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 820 ✭✭✭colmufc

BiBiggest issue here is the new coach bounce, don't know how they are going to react

Just as I type they score a td

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,964 ✭✭✭el Fenomeno

Maye is just rolling at the moment. It's a joy to see.

He's so good, those deep shots are filthy

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 42,046 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

I was gonna come on earlier and say that I'd like Maye to slide before he makes contact on his rushes.

Hopefully he's okay, it'd be a disaster if he's out for the game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 42,046 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

Whew he's okay, wasn't out for long.

Please go down before contact Drake.

Will we buck tradition and actually make a valuable signing before the trade deadline? Be good to get someone to shore up the secondary, maybe a RB. Kamara would be nice pickup, given his receiving ability.
