Lets hope all those customers get their money back because a business is unable to fulfill their advertising promises

Sounds like they should be ringing in from the US of A to air their greviances about this business

I think he is trying to send the guitars to his American shop. Probably declaring a low price. Then reposting onwards from within the USA.

The fella selling Irish fresh air in jars to the yanks - what's the tariff on that i wonder?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,289 ✭✭✭✭McDermotX

More than likely. Age old practice that sometimes skirts import/export regulations. Manufacturing origin of paramount concern of course with regard to tariffs.

Not gonna hear the full story of course.

I have no sympathy. We always get hit by big import charges in Ireland. I have gotten stung importing from China. For example, if you get free postage, the government will use the cost of returning the item back to China via Courier when calculating the charges.

    The 'I' word

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,451 ✭✭✭✭BPKS

John is afraid to say anything critical about FF - is he afraid he wont get the Liveline job and the government will cut the €725m bailout if he does?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,451 ✭✭✭✭BPKS

Moved Eoin swiftly along there once he mentioned the "I" word. We cant be having any of that auld guff on Liveline, sure nobody is concerned about the cost of it at all

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,559 ✭✭✭✭sligeach

John couldn't wait to get Eoin off the line after he mentioned immigration. Gone in 60 10 seconds.

And John with the follow-up lie that they'll return to the issue at some point.
