    By the way, as some time has gone by, I wanted to say my 2 year old rescue (who was starved before us, the poor thing) has been doing great since we changed his diet (for full disclosure, we also do edgard and cooper dry kibble for one meal a day because I want him to accept dry food so I am not stuck when out and about), and man, his coat is so much softer, far less smelly/gassy or itchy. I can't speak for every dog, of course, but he seems allergic to cheap food I swear XDDD
