Wow, that's good, only way to make them listen is to hit them in the pocket. God be with the days when it was just €59 per year to have the online element and just Gold games. Now looking at over €300 per year on the Ultimate plan, mental. Effectively another streaming cost. They wont be happy until they have all our money

I presume their pricing model assumes people will dip in and out of the top tier whenever there are new games they want to play on it, nobody in their right mind would pay €27/month indefinitely for this?

I was able to redeem a month yesterday with my points, just shy of the requirements for 2 months. 26.99 is just too much to justify. The middle tier would more than meet my needs.

I wonder what they'll do with the yearly cycle games like COD. A lot of people probably paid more last year than they normally would on points and not getting it for even a few months would probably actually be leaving some money on the table for them.

Though I'm sure they've done some sort of analysis on this.

I have 8 months left on my 3yrs Gamepass Ultimate via Turkey.
I play very rarely via my phone and razer kishi, maybe 3hrs a month in total.
Its a handy way of killing time when stuck for something to do.
What I will say now,is that there is zero chance of me renewing or keeping my Gamepass account active.
I suppose I'll arrange my network at home to allow me use Steam link to play games I own when I'm out and about.

The price increase is lunacy and I'm of an age where I despise SAAS and not "owning" my games, no matter how infrequently I play them.
Zero value in the offering but, I suppose middle aged gamers aren't the target demo.

My ultimate ran out a few days ago. Only every really played fifa and used the online play a fair bit. Kids played a lot of the games on the ultimate, cooking, driving etc.

There isnt many games on the basic and I dont play online enough to to justity the new cost. Especially considering the outlay as well on the new game. Think i will leave fifa off this year and just play offline with the young fella. If the online costs for PS are reasonable i might get one next year

Got the notice last night when turning on the xbox, I'm due to expire in Jan, recurring billing is set up for 12.99 still. Presume this is a mistake until new prices come in? I'd probably keep it at 12.99 if it for some magic reason stayed that way

Was just about to post the above that jimbob got, but I wonder if that's that way is was meant to be, as we can see from people's subs boxes, who didn't cancel or if it's something they decided to do, cos of perception to the changes?

I bet there's a few out there who did cancel that are now probably regretting it, as they could have kept it at the old price.

Yeah, I hear they have clamped down on VPN methods recently. Some mixed reports on Reddit of people getting it work, but you risk buying a sub and then not being able to redeem it at all… (I'm up on the 19th of Nov, so also trying to think of what to do)

You need to be logged into the Loaded website as a customer to buy.

For some reason, trying to check out as a guest screws with the pricing.

Also, important to remember that if you have a Turkish or other sub.
You will need to let that expire before you redeem your new code/Subscription.
Let Turkish/Foreign sub expire before adding the codes.
