Anyone familiar with Turkish football. Outside of CL, is this whistling and booing the same every week ?

Never seen a GK fit the "best in the world for the 20 games he's fit" description before

Lost what early momentum we had at the start of the half

Concentration. All the tools are there, but that is lacking. It'll probably stop him from reaching his potential. Plus, he has this annoying habit of allowing fook ups to dictate his 90mins.

Wirtz is shocking lads I know people are desperate for him to do well but he is miles off it currently

We just dont know how attack with a plan this season.

Its surprising given all the extra firepower.

It's nearly exactly a year since Alison went of against Palace (October 05th 2024) for a 2 month injury lay off.

Gakpo. Good game of hide and seek there tonight.

Ridiculous that we make Ali play 3 games every 8 days when we know he’s so injury prone. Should be one game a week, but too late now.

I like the look of the team now.

Good changes. And Isak with a chance straight away.

Wirtz is so weak on the ball, always loses it when challenged

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,844 ✭✭✭✭noodler

It might be time to shield Wirtz for a few games.

We’ve been worse in the 2nd half if anything.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,923 ✭✭✭Damien360

I'm beginning to wonder myself. He holds the ball way too long. His passing is off. So many times the ball breaks down due to him.

Ekitike injured now stretching for a crap pass from Szobo.

    Hugo done

    That'd be perfect

    Macca in

Ali and Ekitike both injured from misplaced passes today

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,844 ✭✭✭✭noodler

This is turning into a really sour night

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,218 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

3 non contact injuries in the last 3 games

All we need now is for Virg to get injured in this **** show to wrap it up

Great ball from Wirtz to Bradley

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 1,933 ✭✭✭Appletart Upsetter

What a ball from Wirtz... Bradley needs to score.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 30,530 ✭✭✭✭TitianGerm

If that's a long term one for Ekitike we might be in a bit of trouble unless Isak is nearing full fitness.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,218 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

At least Wirtz has put two good balls in for Isak and Bradley in the past 15

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,191 ✭✭✭dogbert27

He played a great ball to Isak too for his shot. Needs to be doing a lot more of it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,218 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

There's been ten fouls just like that one from Bradley that weren't booked

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 1,933 ✭✭✭Appletart Upsetter

It might be good if some of the other lads out there could create something too.

Ref having a mare, books Bradley for that.

I know people are very good at listening to commentators and taking their opinion over the evidence of their own eyes, Wirtz has made 3 very good chances for us today, he set Frimpong through, he set Isak through, and he put in that ball to Bradley, last week he made very good chances for Salah and Ekitike against Athleti that at least 1 of those should have been scored.
