Maresca making a rod for his own back with tonight's team selection.

Salah on the bench. He doesn't even like getting subbed.

Playing Liverpool at the weekend and he has quite a lot of injuries. So not a very surprising selection

He's not alone, there's Isak and McAlilister to have a chat with.

Galatasaray have a decent looking team. Singo, Bardackci, Gundogan, Yilmaz and Osimhen to name nearly half the team.

I think I'll watch Spurs and keep an eye on the Liverpool game.

    WHAT?
Sure the Europa league champions are playing tonight. 😆

Spent the full summer trying to sell Tyrique George. He wasn't sold. Guiu was sent out of loan to gain experience, but then recalled because of injuries. Surely he should be the one starting tonight if he needs experience. Not the player that we are trying to sell.

What an awful decision to award a penalty against Liverpool for that.

    Garnacho in so much space

Chelsea off the mark against Mourinho

Garnacho squares it to Rios who puts it into his own net.

20 minutes gone, Bodo have been very good. Dominating possession, had the best attempt on target so far.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 42,656 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

    Penalty Bodo, missed by Hogh.

The fright of that might wake Spurs up. Possession to this point is 68-32 to the home team.

Very dissapointed by Frimpong. Torreria & Gundogen playing very well in the middle

The ref in the Liverpool game is scared of the crowd, everytime there is a free into the box one of their players fall and he just gives a free. As a Pool fan I just hope no players get injured.

Spurs have been dreadful, lucky to be level at halftime. A great save from Vicario, a missed penalty and an opportunity blazed over from 7 yards out were the most notable of many opportunities for Glimt.

Tottenham had no serious attempt on goal. I wouldn't be giving credit to any Spurs player but the defense has been better than the rest of the team. Bentancir has been poor, Brennan Johnson and Odobert anonymous and Richarlison not much better. Bergvall has tried hard but with no help. Sarr moving out to the left a lot to try and create but again he's not getting any help.

I'd expect to see subs at halftime. At least two of Simons, Kudus and Palhinha should be brought on.

1-0 Bodo. No Spurs changes at halftime and it's been more of the same and the home team get their well deserved goal.

An immediate response and goal from Spurs.

VAR review and goal not allowed due to Van den Ven foul.

    Huage strikes again, 2-0 Bodo.

    Bring back Ange.

Tottenham strike straight away again and this time it counts. The man who was responsible for the last one being chalked off, Van den Ven, scores.

Just looking at Union SG who Newcastle play tonight. They are unbeaten with seven wins and two draws from the nine games in the Belgian league this season and the 3-1 away win at PSV.

It's not going to be easy for Newcastle.

Rashford doing well again tonight, great assist for Torres

PSG level, it's a pleasure to watch these two going at it

PSG looking more like they did in the first half of last season… dangerous going forward, but leave a lot of gaps at the midfield and at the back that give Barca loads of time to pass through. A lot less dogged and quick without the ball than last seasons best performances. Wonder if they're specifically timing their form to peak later in the season to give them a better chance at the CL (like last year), knowing they'll ultimately cruise domestically regardless.

I see two players not wanted by their previous clubs teamed up for Napoli's goal, De Bruyne assisted Hojlund.
