My feed of choice for the TDF has settled on NZ Sky Sport who have Anthony McCrossan & Nicolas Roche who have been calm while offering good comms.

I assume that's not a free stream (taking VPN to NZ for granted)?

Free stream on a stick a fella sold me for a reasonable price 😉

SBS On Demand via VPN has worked well for me(from phone or laptop), but I cannot cast to TV or Chromecast device if I have a VPN active - I presume that this because the VPN is using a channel that the casting process also needs and thus clash - but has anyone got a workaround or managed to cast in these circumstances ?

I had the same issue - the vpn stopped the phone and tv finding each other for casting. This worked for me in Nord VPN - found it on a Samsung forum.

Anyone else on Discovery Plus (via VPN) having trouble with the updated app?
My relative in the UK is away on holiday at the moment, so they can't test it at home.

I can still watch the aneurism-inducing 'Entertainment' shite, but none of the Sports stuff is working 😪

sounds like you’ve access to the Irish content so it might be your VPN

Seems UCI are showing some of this week's races on their YouTube. Seems geo restricted and Ireland wasn't covered so loaded up VPN to Rwanda and hey presto. Doubt the main events will be covered but worth checking

Argentina worked well for the CX World Cup coverage over the winter

Netflix has bought Warner Brothers streaming and studios division.

    Per the article:

Its global networks division will become Discovery Global and will include its cable channels such as CNN and TNT Sports in the US, as well as its Discovery and free-to-air channels in Europe.

However, TNT Sports International will stay with the streaming and studios division being sold to Netflix.

Wonder how this will affect cycling coverage?

    *The bold is my addition

recently signed up for Now sports, primarily for the football but I thought well I'll also get the cycling and climbing back that I lost when D+ was revamped.

But there's nothing at all in the on-demand section for either sport. I believe they'll show live events when they're on, but how can it be so crap?

now tv is a budget product when it comes to sport. It’s enough for most who just want to watch live sport

It will show whatever is on TNT 1-4 and Premier Sports 1,2

They won’t show anything else (ie the stuff on discovery + in the UK)

(It’s priced accordingly too. I pay €10 a month for it while the UK have no such option for this. They have to subscribe to the pricey Discovery+ option)

Fair enough, it's just bizarre that we can't get that content at all here now, when we had it all on D+ last year.

NowTV here also, I can't find any listings for the CX World Cup tomorrow, and it wasn't on last weekend either, even though they showed round 1 the week before…they just show stuff when they feel like it? God I miss GCN+

It'll be streamed live on Tiz tomorrow and available on-demand approximately a day later.

No quite as slick a service as GCN+ was, but we Irish viewers have been left with little option.

I've been throwing Tiz a few bob lately, as I've been using their service a lot since we've been effectively abandoned by the 'legit' providers.

It is listed on their app but I'm not sure what that means as I don't see it on the schedule for any of the channels

It means nothing. I’m not being facetious here. If you want to know what will be on now TV, you just have to see the TNT TV schedules. Everything else won’t be available

I signed back up to the TNT pack via virgin media there last week. It's 19.50 on top of my existing broadband and tv package.

Anyway, it's as it was, which is grand. But apparently the whole palaver is changing hands again with HBO buying discovery or some sh1te. Changeover is 6th of March I think according to the web. The Virgin guy knew nothing about it, and I haven't gotten any concrete answers on the web or anywhere else. - Does anyone knew what we might come to expect next month?

    Sorry that's March 26th.
